We're exactly 10 days away from playing The Last of Us: Part II for ourselves, and according to an article which claims to have the details on the game's day one update, we'll be stopping to take in the view more often than not. Gear Nuke appears to have gotten its hands on what patch 1.01 brings with it, and that includes a Photo Mode.
The site reports that the update will also include a Concept Art Gallery, a Model Viewer, general bug fixes and improvement, and even more accessibility options. We've already covered the impressive list of accessibility options on offer with a recent preview piece, so this aspect of the game only appears to be getting even better. The Photo Mode is the headline addition here though as it opens up the list of possible creations done by players yet more. That is if these details are correct, of course.
If you want to read about The Last of Us: Part II a little bit more, make sure to check out our three hands on articles which dive into different aspects of the PlayStation 4 exclusive. Then, check back with us on Friday for our full review. Will you be taking advantage of Photo Mode? Get the right shot in the comments below.

Photo mode will be a welcome addition, as well as the model viewer. ND kills it with the quality of their models.
Hey Liam. Are you folks allowed to give the install size of the game yet? Just so i can shuffle some stuff off the ol' hard drive if needed.
@Weebleman The game comes on two discs, so probably a little under 100GB.
@Weebleman Set aside 100GB and you'll be fine.
@IronMike well we can clearly see from your profile pic that you're living in the past
@get2sammyb @Octane Pretty much where i was thinking. These double disc games are coming along thick and fast eh.
I'm happy with that, I love a bit of photomode
100Gb...plus possible photo mode etc....and still finding another 50Gb odd for GOT! I'd dearly love to delete guzzlers like RDR 2 or GTA V, but as I stopped updating them beyond some earlier campaign story updates I'd hate to reinstall them again with the online bloatware!
@get2sammyb This means the review will be based upon the 1.00 version, right?
And please remember to tell us how it runs on OG PS4 if you played it on a Pro!
Better set aside another 20GB for photos 😂
