Farming Simulator 19 PS4 PlayStation 4 1

PlayStation Plus subscribers have not reacted kindly to May 2020’s free PlayStation 4 games, with a whopping 78 per cent of the Push Square community showing their dissatisfaction with the selection. Of course, with any kind of backlash comes an online petition, and almost 7,000 people have signed their name against a Change.org plea to have the lineup altered.

The request, aimed directly at PlayStation boss Jim Ryan, describes the lineup as “dumbfounding” – although the facetious nature of the appeal makes us think it was penned in jest. “Please join us and make the change,” reads the summary. “Do it for the NHS, do it for all those suffering in isolation. Do it for the gamers!”

It continues: “Then we will clap for you Jim Ryan. Until then we will remain saddened, left out and let down, in a lock down quarantine nightmare simply growing corn.” The replies get more directly to the point: “This sh*t is ass,” writes one individual. “No one wants these horrible simulators,” added another.

Sony has made changes to the PS Plus lineup based on feedback in the past: PES 2019: Pro Evolution Soccer got given the boot last year in favour of Quantic Dream adventure game Detroit: Become Human. It’ll be interesting to see whether there are any last-minute substitutions this time around, because the feedback hasn’t been particularly pretty.
