This makes me happy

Picked up Steep for a decent price and will be chilling out with it when I can this weekend. Enjoying it so far, there's something pretty cool about carving down a mountain at my own pace. When I need to liven things up I'll be reclaiming my mid table obscurity in battlefield 1 multiplayer.

So 7% of people who watched a Youtube video clicked a dislike button? I doubt Sony are too bothered, to be honest; allowing people to up or down vote on videos and forums always leads to a toxic atmosphere.
I'm not saying what we get on PS+ is good or bad, but it is easy to magnify a relatively small number of people's vitriol and get a skewed perspective.

Pretty happy with the selection. Of course a AAA game would've been great but I'll happily give all these a spin

There are many games I'll happily pay full price on day one for but this isn't one. Definite bargain bin game for me!

Haven't had much of chance to use it yet but playing tomb raider on 60fps is night and day compared to before. Never been one to care too much about fps- until now that is.

@Drawfull hang on, 2 cables? I've just got the one connecting both ps4s. Perhaps I am doing it via wifi after all! Arse. The router is in a different room so I'll have to stick with it.

@Drawfull I'm doing it via lan and its still taking an age. 6 more hours. Don't get it...

Just started the transfer and it's saying 10 hours!! What the hell!?

@get2sammyb not for now, I know, but will you be running a how to on transferring data/profiles from ps4 to pro? I want to get the process over as quickly as possible on the 10th!

Getting big AAA games is great and all, but I quite like this month's selection for my PS4 and vita- 4 games I wouldn't have bought. Now I get a chance to play for 'free'. I'm happy enough.

@Flurpsel yep. Really hope it's sorted by tonight as I'm itching to try the multiplayer. Not holding my breath, though.

PSN was fine for me just now. Same can't be said of the Battlefield servers... I wonder if the issues are connected somehow?

@ShogunRok I may be wrong but don't Rockstar tend to begin marketing their games quite far into production (unlike most developers/publishers)? If so, when do you think we'll see it released? By the end of this financial year would seem logical..?

Great video Sammy, although I had to watch it ready to close the browser down in a split second in case my wife walked in. There is something inherently creepy about this game and I'd be embarrassed if my wife saw me watching this video on my laptop. I can only imagine what it would be like to be immersed in VR with this unaware of my family seeing it play out on the TV

Can't wait to pick up this game after work, so hyped for it.

@get2sammyb this is one of my favourite sites so please don't take this the wrong way, but how can you give a game 7/10 and then place it higher in the monthly round up than a 9/10? I dont get it!

People sure feel strongly about this game. For what it's worth, I've never had so much fun with a FPS and would suggest anyone on the fence to download and give it time. Took a good few hours to click with me but now I play every day

@get2sammyb PS thanks for the inference that us forum posters know the industry inside out. The only thing I know inside out are my pants but that's only because the Mrs is away and they're not going to wash themselves.

@get2sammyb yes, I take your point. It must be tough for indie devs when people aren't willing to take a punt in case it becomes free next month. I guess it's that tricky balance between the exposure digital platforms can give and the readiness for people to spend their readies.

If a game is released the same day as the monthly free games, how will that hurt sales? People know what's going to be free so they will either get it for free (and devs will get whatever commission) or buy it if they want to.
