Sony had always promised that more PlayStation 4 games would be added to its bonanza of an April sale, and the Japanese giant has now delivered with even more discounts to sink your teeth into. These deals are now live in both Europe and the US.
Hunt: Showdown has already had 30 per cent knocked off its asking price, bringing the tense, online shooter down to £24.49/$27.99, while Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is still a bit expensive at £44.99/$44.99. Spyro: Reignited Trilogy can be yours for just £17.49/$19.99, or you can pick it up in a bundle alongside Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy for £29.99/$37.49. Add Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled to that package and all three remakes will cost you £50.99. Elsewhere, Tetris Effect is half price at £17.49/$19.99, Rez Infinite receives the same discount down to £12.49/$14.99, and Kerbal Space Program: Enhanced Edition is just £8.99/$9.99.
There are many more deals on offer though so head on over to the PlayStation Store to check out the full list. You've got until midnight on 29th April 2020 to claim these discounts. Will any of these new additions be finding a place in your PS4 basket? Let us know in the comments below.

Already bought the Bioshock collection, Until Dawn and Days Gone (which I'm loving atm). Is GR:Wildlands enjoyable? Or is it a typical Ubisoft copy and paste mission bonanza? Most people say it's repetetive but sometimes repetition can be fun and I like the look of this game.
Crash bandicoot for £30! - that's not a sale, that's highway robbery.
@gollumb82 I got Breakpoint a couple of weeks ago and have already sunk 50+ hours into it. Just about to finish the last mission and haven’t been bored for a single minute - well worth the £15.99 I paid.
@tinCAT-zero That’s with Spyro too!
@OliverCrossland
Oh.... 😂. That's a bit better.
I'm a broken record when it comes to this but people really must try Hunt: Showdown (whilst appreciating that it is not available in all countries). It's slow, tense, and absolutely brutal.
@tinCAT-zero bro I loled so hard!
For VR fans in particular, but also everyone else too.
Buy REZ and Tetris Effect.
Enjoy!
Why are we the only region that don't have the Arcade Archives/Neo Geo games on Sale?
Once again these sales are just the same stuff. I wish they had some of the indie titles on sale right now. Money is tight, would have been a great chance for some indie studios to sell more copies by having discounts on their games.
@gollumb82 Wildlands is ok for an occasional shooter it's very repeative in certain missions and what you need to do upgrade wise, not bad for a base game. I was interested in the season pass 1 but I've had a lot of people say it's not worth it even or when it was at £8 I'd rather wait till maybe it's combined with season pass 1 and 2 at some point.
I bought spyro at £12 before Christmas these sales are a joke for prices, capitalising on what's going on at the moment because it's true they have been cheaper far cheaper
@Nakatomi_Uk
Ok, thanks for the input!
@OliverCrossland
Thanks man! Have you played Wildlands as well? Is it better than Breakpoint or vice versa?
@gollumb82 Nope, never played Wildlands! I’ll be honest Breakpoint isn’t usually the type of game I’d go for as you need to sink the hours in but when I saw it on offer and with the lockdown I went for it and it’s honestly one of the most enjoyable games I’ve played this gen. Been a whole since a game sucked me in like that and made me go to sleep at silly o’clock - even bought the expansion!
@gollumb82 I loved Wildlands. Whilst it is basically the same type of missions throughout the game, the map of Bolivia they're set in is absolutely gorgeous with various different regions. It's good fun to play solo thanks to your ai squad mates. Taking down 4 enemies at the same time with a synced shooting never gets old. Despite being the older game, I think it's so much better than Breakpoint.
@OliverCrossland
Thanks again man! Good to know. I have the same problem with lack of time (even with the lockdown the e-learning crap is taking way too much of it..). Still, if a game is worth it I can make some sacrifices I'm probably going to to with Wildlands because of what ApostateMage said. I like the fact that it is set in a more realistic context.
@ApostateMage
Great, thanks a ton! I actually prefer playing solo and the realistic setting seems way more convincing to me. Happy to hear the teammate AI is competent as well.
@ApostateMage I'm currently playing through Breakpoint, having picked it up cheap in the sale when I read that they were giving the option to do away with the Gear Score.
I am enjoying it, but I'd agree... Wildlands was a better game; it was far more polished and felt more complete. But when you look at the opening credits, with the number of different Ubisoft teams apparently involved in Breakpoint's creation, I'm not surprised it's a bit of a disjointed mess.
The core gameplay is solid enough, but it's too short if you only concentrate on the main missions, the story is a bit laughable in places despite a solid premise, and even for a Ubisoft game there's just far too much which feels like unnecessary busywork and padding.
And the loading times... good grief! Being of an age where I can remember waiting 25 minutes for a Commodore 64 game to load from cassette, I'm not usually one to complain about load times at all, but they become really intrusive, especially if you delve into the online Ghost War. In a best-of-3 round, you can spend longer looking at loading screens than playing the match. Thankfully, I'm not much for online PvP and only did it for the trophies, so I don't have to endure it any more.
@Paranoimia Aye, it's a much improved game when playing without all the gear score rubbish. I actually got into it but most of the missions have you going back and to across the humongous map which meant either a long slow chopper ride or a fast travel with a long load screen so I got sick of it in the end. Deleted it recently to make room.
I’ve always been curious about giving Kerbal a try and that price point might make me bite the bullet.
@Mergatro1d Agree with you , Hunt Showdown is most addictive game I've played in years
Yeaaa... better wait for the Golden Week sale / next flash sale.
Remnant: From The Ashes discount highly recommended it,! Perfect game with friends. You will have fun!
Its great to see Sony launch a COVID19 support fund for indies, but wish they'd extend it to some indie/arcade sales too. Got several indies wishlisted released June/Oct. last year yet to see any discounts & even a couple older ones 2018 & earlier that haven't seen sales in ages...not directly related to those titles, but some indies suggest its difficult to get discounts on PSN as Sony curates what goes on discount.
Sekiro on sale for £39. Why hasn't this dropped in price more? It was released a year ago.
@Ba11y I bought Hunt Showdown when it first came out but never got around to playing it. Hearing these positive remarks makes me want to throw it in.
Same discounted games they always do.
Most of my wishlist is Vita games....zero of them are on sale, as usual. Boooo!!!
@gollumb82 Dont get it. It's boring and repetitive and not in a good way. You just do the same things over and over again.
@gollumb82 just got a platinum on Days gone! Loved it! Such and underated game um me opinion
@Ken_Kaniff
That's my main concern here. Still haven't decided if I should buy it. It doesn't help that the last Ubisoft game I played (AC Odyssey) left mý hard drive after a few days because it was so tedious. Might as well wait a bit longer and get it at an even deeper discount.
If you didn't like AC Odyssey then I reckon you'd feel the same about Wildlands. Ubisoft's games tend to have the same formula across most of their titles. I thought AC Odyssey was brilliant but I'm a sucker for vast open world games.
With these sales on PSN store, it’d be fun for PushSquare to make a “top 10” deals based on overall game quality, fun factor, and best discount/price. That way we’d know what’s the best bang for the buck.
