Crash Bandicoot didn’t put in an appearance during PlayStation 5’s big reveal event last week, but it looks like Activision is gearing up to announce a new game. It’s sent influencer Canadian Guy Eh a mysterious package, which includes a message from the mischievous marsupial and a jigsaw. The note reads: “A little something to help you pass the TIME. Your favourite Bandicoot.” There’s probably a clue in there somewhere.
The completed jigsaw reveals what appears to be a mask, which will presumably be some kind of item in the title. A new Crash Bandicoot has been rumoured for quite a while now, and it looks like an announcement is imminent. Remember: Activision pulled a very similar stunt to this prior to revealing Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled.

IGN showed it with missing pieces of the puzzle.
I assumed that meant there was going to be micro transactions needed to complete the game.
Hype. Hopefully we won't have to wait long for an official announcement.

It's usually annouced a few days after they send out the free stuff. So weekend at the earliest or early next week hopefully.

Sony is really going after that family market early with the PS5. Smart move for a holiday launch.
It'd be really cool if a new Crash Bandicoot game ends up being one of the launch titles.
It's multi plat now, no need to promote it for PS anymore
I’m thinking it’s gonna have some kart racing element based on the ps commercial where we first saw the mask. I just don’t see how you do a full blown kart racer and get much better than the original (or Nitro fueled). I’m hoping it’s some sort of hybrid like how tag team racing did. I think there is a way that the two genres could be blended into something fun and unique.

This guy does a decent amount of Crash stuff, but I prefer MisterBo! Canadian Guy recently did a video of references to older games and other franchises in CTR costumes and missed like at least a dozen. xD
