Downloaded it on a whim last night and have played for about 2 hours today whilst pretending to work from home. So far really enjoying it- graphics are amazing on Pro, web slinging is a blast, fighting is button-mashing fun. Doubt it will be the deepest experience ever but I'm glad I bought it.

I hate to say it but it seems PES is dying. Yes it is way ahead in terms of gameplay but I can't keep overlooking the lack of any meaningful progression everywhere else. To lose the Champions League etc. is a massive step backwards. Even the menus- which aren't really that important- are still as ugly as ever; surely this is like a morning's job for someone to update them? Get a temp in to do it! And I'm so bored of Master League being exactly the same each year.

I love football games and hold PES in such fond esteem, but- and this pains me no end- FIFA will probably get my money this year.

We’ve seen recently with Velocity 2X where PSPlus isn’t the answer some people hoped it would be, but it seems a shoe-in for Laser League. I hope it does make it as I’m one of countless people who haven’t bought it but would happily give it a try.

I loved Shenmue back in the day but I was also into the band Gay Dad at the time. I fear replaying the game will be like listening to their album again now.

Of course they couldn't make a From-style game. They'd Ruina it.

@LaNooch1978 well I think that with current industry practices you're right to be cynical, but this is Rockstar and I have high hopes that their creative innovations will extend to more than animated horse testes and additional revenue streams. I just hope I'm not being naive.

What's all this crazy talk about not being excited? I for one can't wait for this, regardless of whether or not it redefines the industry. Whatever that means.

Whatevs. All this means is that I'm allowed to sample these drums for the Nathan Raider: Among Shadows game I'm gonna make with Dreams.

@Neolit I was trying to work it out as I watched it. Seemed like most of it was pre-recorded (drums, main melodies etc) and most of the ds4 twiddling was probably altering effects in real-time. Then the rest of it was improvised ds4 button presses mapped to the right scale for the track (you could see that on the screens) so it didn’t sound out of tune.

What that needed...was more cowbell.

Looking forward to trying it later but doubt it would have made that limp game any better. Best part was Suarez trying to grab Hegazi's nuts near the end (of the game)

Maybe I'm getting too old and boring but this just annoyed the hell out of me.

I'm amazed at the hate this getting seeing as we know next to zero about it yet.

@get2sammyb This is crying out for a Push Square collaborative effort. If we can pool some skills we could make something amazing together. I'm totally up for making some music as I imagine my level design skills will leave a lot to be desired.

This will be my first run through Dark Souls and I can't wait. I didn't get on with Bloodborne at first, but then downloaded it again when it was on PS plus and had an epiphany. It's now one of my favourite ever games, so I'm hoping I'll enjoy this as much.

I'll be singing "I am Astro Bot, I am Astro Bot" all night now. Thanks Japan Studio.

Perhaps if Rockstar had just dropped the trailer without teasing it, it would have had a bigger impact for some people (myself included)? I was hoping for proper gameplay and to see more of the world and gunfights and animated horse balls... but what we got was another teaser. No bad thing by any stretch, but maybe an anticlimax after knowing the trailer was incoming.

Odd choice. If Sony are trying to entice people to buy Detroit, wouldn’t Heavy Rain be a better choice seeing as its widely believed to be better than Beyond? Unless it’s already been on PS plus? But Rayman is a gem.

I want this to be good but the career mode is hardly unique- it looks very similar to Virtua Tennis 4.

@adf86 yeah I think it did. Still couldn’t get on with it, and I don’t particularly suffer from motion sickness. But it was one of my fist vr games so maybe I hadn’t got my legs yet?
