I'm enjoying this game but some of the puzzles are beyond obtuse. I know they are in the spirit of Monkey Island era games, which I love, but maybe I'm just getting too old and impatient for them!? Case in point- the entire Feeling Old level wound me up so much!

I bang on about the 3D audio in Hunt Showdown anytime I’ve given the chance. It really is a game changer, and I’m excited to see (hear) this become the norm for the new generation

@Perryg92 I had this with my PS4. Got it at launch and it was bricked from the start- was absolutely gutted, though to be fair to Sony they arranged a replacement console, which arrived the next day (and worked!)

It was in stark contrast to the state Destruction Allstars was in. Did you see the way the characters were morphing into the ground when the photo was being taken? It looks half finished and has flop written all over it.

@Gmork___ Online matches are easy to find and I don't usually have to wait more than a few seconds to be matched with someone.
There are two maps, with another coming next year- but they're so big and well designed that it really doesn't matter.
Honestly, it's such a brilliant game and doesn't get the love it deserves- it's hardcore (in other words, I suck at it) but totally addictive, and the 3d sound design is some of the best I've ever heard before- in fact, there's no point playing it without headphones. As you can tell, I could go on about this game for a while..!

Hunt Showdown at £13 is a steal. I wish more people would play this gem

Anyway, to each their own; I bought FIFA 21 because I know I'll play a match or two most evenings throughout the year, I want the new kits and squad updates, and I want the PS5 upgrade. And I'm hoping PES comes back with a bang as I'd rather be playing that than FIFA

@UnlimitedSevens pretty sure they're the platinum (wireless) ones as I had to buy them after the hinges on my gold pair broke. It's the way they fold for storage. Regardless, whichever model I own doesn't have hinges anymore, just a load of gaffer tape to keep them together!

In the last week, both hinges on my Platinum headset have snapped. Its as if there's a timer inside them, forcing me to buy the shiny new Pulse headset.

Call me a grumpy old git but I just want to see gameplay without having to endure Elton John shrieking over everything.

I was grumbling in an earlier comment about being thrown out of the payment page to be told they’d run out of stock. I’ve now just received an email confirming my order! If anyone else had the same problem as me, check your emails in case it did actually go through.

It also means my ShopTo expression of interest, which has been turned into a preorder, isn’t needed anymore. Of course I’ll cancel it but it would be great if I could pass it over to someone here

After much refreshing I finally got through to payment, entered my details... waited...sent back to payment screen...reentered details...waited... spat back out and told none in stock anymore. Grrrr

I was a couple of years too old to enjoy the books when they came out and the films have only a passing interest to me, but this looks ace

I imagine the spots FIFA and Fortnite have are paid for, and there are a lot of games released each week so it would be very difficult to showcase all of them... but yeah it could be improved.

I usually go to games>all games>released in the last 7 days to check out what's new

I’m glad the crown in fall mountain is a bug. I was denied my one and only victory yesterday when I couldn’t grab it, and at least now I can say it wasn’t down to my complete ineptitude.

@get2sammyb yes I meant after the upgrade. Likewise, I think the backwards compatibility will add some improvements but we will definitely need to wait for the full fat version

I hope the digital only version is at least £100 cheaper. Not because I intend to buy it but because it’ll help me lie to my wife about how much I spend on a new console
