Love historical Medieval games but, need to see more gameplay footage to be convinced. Hopefully the focus on narrative dosen't make them neglect the gameplay. Also yeah she looks Jim carry during Dumb and Dumber so I'm gonna have to try real hard to take her character seriously.

I'd say it's working as intended.

Honestly one of the greatest open world RPG'S ever created. Night City to me is the best city ever created in a video game. It feels so alive and densely packed that I find myself just walking around and talking screenshots. No other game has ever had that effect on me.

This looks pretty good. Thankfully the last souls like game i played was Nightreign at launch so I haven't felt the fatigue others are feeling.

@VicerExciser I'm glad a lot of people are noticing this. It's like you're not allowed to dislike any of Sony's first party offerings now. It's also funny that this site frequently equates sales with quality for Sony but, we can all agree the COD is currently in a bad spot despite it always selling very well.

Is this another case of people setting themselves up for disappointment? Still remember people being pissed at CDPR for their livestream.

I wish I enjoyed Silent Hill f as much as others but, to me it just lacked the uneasiness and creepy factor of the other games. I don't think I felt scared even once during my entire playthrough.

I remember back then how redditors tried to convince me that Microsoft acquiring Activision would only be a good thing for the gaming industry and that gamepass was the future. Even a child could have told you consolidation never benefits the consumers.

In today's market where RPG franchises like Baldur's Gate or Clair Obscure exist, FF is just no longer special. I mean honestly even the storytelling which used to be it's main strength is just laughable at this point.

Hoping for either SMT 6 or Phantasy Star Remasters and a new release.

All I want is for them to continue the infamous series. That franchise has so much more to offer. It would be tragic for them to completely be done with it.

Shinobi was so good that only Silksong managed to get me to stop playing it for a bit.

Wow what a boring lineup. If remakes are the most exciting things they have to offer it's no wonder they're seen as a shadow of their former selves.

@PuppetMaster Same. I'm trying to complete it before Silksong and I'm having an absolute blast with it.

The demo already got me hyped for this game. I'm glad it manages to retain it's high quality throughout it's length. This and Silksong alone make this year so much better than last year.

Just played the demo and honestly I'm blown away. I'm not usually into 2d side strollers but this was awesome. Definitely a day 1.

Wish the camera was a bit better but, other than that I'm looking forward to this.

@somnambulance I think you greatly overestimate Final Fantasy's current popularity if you think FF16 could reach Persona 5's sales. Final Fantasy sales are very front loaded and with the brands fading popularity and failure to attract new younger audiences it's only destined to lose more relevance. FF16 barely sold on steam while P5 still makes it to the top sellers list whenever is goes on sale. The fact that Final Fantasy which is Square Enix's flagship franchise is being compared to a niche new JRPG from Atlus shows just how far the brand has fallen.
