With what's reportedly the biggest ever Tokyo Games Show set for the end of the month, publishing heavyweight Square Enix has outlined what it's bringing to the Japanese expo. In short, it'll have nine new games playable and will be putting on multiple stage shows.
TGS runs from 25th to 28th September, and Square Enix will have the following titles at the show, with most available to demo on the showfloor:
- The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales
- Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D Remake
- Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake
- Dragon Quest X Online
- Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade (Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2)
- Final Fantasy XIV Online
- Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles
- Killer Inn
- Octopath Traveler 0
The only listed games that won't offer hands on opportunities are Final Fantasy XIV Online and Octopath Traveler 0, but you can still look forward to photo spots and meet-and-greet moments during the expo.
As for the stage show, there'll be "special broadcasts" showing off some of the upcoming games, like Octopath Traveler 0 and Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D Remake. "The cast of Critikano Hit and the developers of the upcoming Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D Remake come together to share news about the release while showcasing some gameplay," for example.
