Trophies add replay value. OK, I get that. But these people who won't buy a thirty year old game just because of their absence might as well admit that they are on virtual crack and be done with it.

What i think is that the market share has dramatically increased in size since 2006. I wonder what the per capita sales are?

The game is full of "because Fallout did it" from head toe.

The first game was an average Fallout 4 clone.
And lets be honest, by modern standards, Fallout 4 is average itself which does not help. It does not hold a candle to something like Cyberpunk.

I give it two weeks max to be back down to where it was.

@J2theEzzo Roger Jr is the kid in the pouch. The big kangaroo is Roger's wife. We haven't actually had the real Roger in a long time, although he tends to pop up in ending scenes so he isn't dead.

And I disagree that this UI is faster and sleeker. In fact the PS5 removed features that the PS3 and PS4 had as standard that it has only recently brought back if at all.

@DTfearTheBEARD That's just it though. Plenty of the PS5's library is not 60 FPS as standard. One of the biggest criticisms of this generation is that the PS5 has never consistently hit its potential cap.

I only bought a PS5 because the Black Friday deal was so incredible. And according to the sales figures I was not alone.
The truth of the matter is, the PS4 is still incredible value for money, and arguably with its games now going so cheap second hand it has never been more so. The only real reason to upgrade imo is FOMO.

If you want to genuinely know how successful or popular a game is, check the streamers.
If basically no one is playing this live in a week or two then you'll have your answer.

To assume that Sony is shutting down a major part of Premium after only a week of the service being broken is bordering hysterical paranoia imo.
Sony have a terrible track record with releasing statements when things go wrong.

You guys loved Concord in your review so no offence but i'm not sure you are qualified to assess whether a game is going to be the next Concord or not. It certainly looks pretty generic and bland to me.

In the same way that Cyberpunk took the concept of Deus Ex and ran with it further and higher than the latter ever dreamed, so too has Yakuza taken all of the fun bits of Shenmue and taken them further and higher than Yu Suzuki ever did.

Hang On and Space Harrier were two of the only reasons to replay Shenmue after the first playthrough imo.

I found the ending to MHA to be incredibly disappointing. Deku basically learned nothing - he was useless before his quirk and he was useless after he lost his quirk. Instead of becoming Batman he just sat around twiddling his thumbs until someone handed him an Iron Man suit.

What a silly decision it was to make android free will a virus that could be transmitted from "person" to "person". Far from being this grand take of emancipation, I was left with the impression that the humans were right and we were dealing with nothing more than defective pieces of equipment. Not that you could side with the humans of course as the narrative clearly wanted you to side with the androids.

@Matthewnh GTA6 looks exactly like GTA5. And I really do mean "exactly" as anyone who has seen what a decent PC with mods is capable of knows.
Don't get me wrong, i will sink multiple playthroughs into it as i have with every GTA since 3. But lets be real about how little here is actually likely to be brand new.

The PS5 has just gotten going. Only recently has it been churning out games that the PS4 Pro would not have been able to handle.
