@Balaam_ I'm not a trophy hunter but I do agree with you. If you are going to have this feature, if you are going to include it for every game, then it needs to be executed properly.

Why can't you delete old trophies? It makes no sense to me. Especially as a lot of old games thanks to the trend of attaching them to multiplayer are now completely impossible.

All i want from a Cyberpunk 2077 patch is the ability to play in third person.
I have never understood the point of games that have incredibly detailed character creators and hundreds of clothes to find and yet have it so you cannot look at your character in-game.
And no, i do not count the inventory screen as "in-game".

The outfits look crap but i find it hard to get annoyed by "free and optional".
The bugs on the other hand...

Games used to be of a higher quality than they are today. And people can ''OK granddad'' me as much as they like. Almost all of the legendary franchises got their start twenty plus years ago. How many franchise success stories can you actually name from recent times apart from Fortnite and Minecraft?

I have zero problem with this, and I bet if you dared to post a poll on this I am by no means alone.
And btw, who wants to invest their time into some dead multiplayer game? Being able to track the metrics means that I won't waste my money.

@somnambulance Agreed. The word "hate" has been overused to the point of irrelevance.
"Love" too for that matter, which is why I did not take part in the poll. There needs to be a middle ground option. Not everything has to be black and white.

What your closest competitor is doing is VERY important. The PS6 will not release into a vacuum.

My opinion is that graphics are already good enough. A few extra blades of grass isn't going to improve my enjoyment.

@J2theEzzo Yep. I HOPE that PushSquare has no control over these Marathon ads because no joke I currently have half of my phone screen covered in one as I write this. As you say, a bit hard to trust all of this neverending praise for a game that they are technically speaking making money out of.

My first impression several months ago was that this game looks exceedingly generic, and having played it, that is still my impression.

Once you get past the big names, this industry is in serious trouble. The jobs are going and are not being replaced. High profile failures are everywhere. New ip is deemed too risky.

Starfield is the game that finally showed the world what Bethesda is when it no longer has a popular ip protecting it from backlash.
Compared to what Rockstar, Naughty Dog or CDProjectRed are doing nowadays, Bethesda is such a yesterday's company.

Quality speaks for itself. The YouTube reviewers do not have nearly the power that people credit them with. If this game was good, word of mouth would have gotten around and people would have played it.

I still play on my crusty old PS4 all the time, Sammy. It does the job brilliantly. Easily one of the best consoles of all time.

Trophies add replay value. OK, I get that. But these people who won't buy a thirty year old game just because of their absence might as well admit that they are on virtual crack and be done with it.

This is one of those games that I look at and think ''Yeah, maybe Anita Sarkeesian had a point.''

Maybe it'll be good, maybe it won't.
But this art style has never once grown on me. And the thing is, if you are going to compete with the likes of Fortnite or even Overwatch, you NEED to nail that. People like playing as cool characters in cool environments.

Probably could not get away with selling a game based on such an exploitative lesbian relationship any more. There was nothing empowering about the sleazy way it was marketed, it was pure male gaze.
For reference this was only one year before the infamous band ''Tatu'' featured two completely heterosexual women pretending to be lesbians just to sell their album.

I must be living under a rock? I do not remember any culture war s-t surrounding this game. The criticism all centred around the accusation that it feels more like an add on pack rather than a sequel.

What i think is that the market share has dramatically increased in size since 2006. I wonder what the per capita sales are?

@LordAinsley I would like to recommend a YouTube review on Outer Worlds by NeverKnowsBest.
The game is full of "because Fallout did it" from head toe.

The first game was an average Fallout 4 clone.
And lets be honest, by modern standards, Fallout 4 is average itself which does not help. It does not hold a candle to something like Cyberpunk.

I give it two weeks max to be back down to where it was.
