Developers like Kojima Productions are a handful of studios on the frontline constantly pushing the capabilities of video game tech and visuals, and Hideo Kojima may have shared a glimpse at the sort of graphical leap PS6 could provide.

First-party project Physint is so far away from release that it's generally agreed it will mainly be a PS6 game — it doesn't even have a proper cast lineup yet. That hasn't stopped Kojima from sharing some brief details about the project as part of the developer's 10th anniversary showcase, however.

Actor Minami Hamabe will play a character in the upcoming espionage game, having broken onto the scene in Godzilla Minus One and many Japanese movies and TV shows. Now, in a follow-up post, Kojima has shared her CG model, which has been rendered in the "game engine".

The creator clarifies that "it's not the final version yet — it's still at the experimental stage", but the attached pictures may share a small glimpse into what might be possible in the next generation on PS6. Have a look at the images below:

Due to Kojima's wording in the post, it's a bit difficult to nail down exactly what we're looking at, as he calls it a CG model rendered from the game engine — potentially Decima.

If the PS6 is able to achieve this level of graphics, and Physint is almost certainly targeting a native release on it (especially as OD is first in line from Kojima Productions), would you be happy with these kinds of realistic visuals? Share your thoughts on the images in the comments below.
