Konami has announced that Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, a remake of the beloved classic stealth action title, has reached one million copies sold. What's more, it apparently did so within a day of its launch on 28th August 2025.
That figure comprises shipments of the physical game as well as digital sales, according to the publisher's Japanese press release.

We knew it had done well at physical retail in Japan, but it seems to be performing strongly everywhere, though obviously we don't know quite how the numbers break down.
Still, a million copies in a day is nothing to be sniffed at.

Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater brings back the iconic PS2 game, MGS3, with modern visuals, quality-of-life updates, and revamped controls.
While its technical performance has come under scrutiny, it has reviewed very well, including here at Push Square. Awarding it a 9/10, we called the game "the best version of an undisputed classic".
