For fans of Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom, it's been a painfully long wait to hear more about the RPG's season pass. It was more than four months after the game's release before we got any kind of information, and even that was worryingly vague. However, Bandai Namco has at last coughed up another sliver of detail on the first of the two main add-ons.
The first DLC pack, supposed to be releasing this winter, is now called 'Labyrinth of the Ghost King', according to the latest Weekly Famitsu. The story focuses on King Lamikyl, the leader of Endrance, who players will be tasked with taking down. New equipment will be included, as will a new battle mechanic called the Gokui System. Unfortunately, we're still missing a concrete release date, but it shouldn't be too far off now.

Take your time. I already have to many games to play.
Bought the game. Played the game. Traded in the game for about $25 towards DQXI. 90 hours into that game, knowing that when I'm done, it's done, which still seems a ways off. Can't imagine ever looking back to NNK2.
They waited way too long to release DLC for this game... By now, most people have probably beaten it and moved on.
I actually forgot I own this game until I read the headline.
Bought the King's edition but haven't had time to play it. Looking froward to the DLC.
well, i have to assume that the game has sold VERY poorly. in fact, i recently picked up the physical version for $20 at my local best buy (on sale). regular price is now $35. that is a mighty drop for a game that was released in march of this year. perhaps level 5 has pulled many of its staff from the project as they focus on better things. that in turn could have impacted the timeline of the dlc. based on all i have read, ni no kuni 2 is a step back from the first entry of the series and the poor sales should not come as a surprise.
Well I'm obviously excited for this news, and it's just in time for the Winter holidays it seems.
Good job i havent started the game yet. I got what i assume to be a very heavily discounted kings edition for my birthday (i saw the price plummit faster than shadow the tomb raider!) and havent had a chance to start it yet. I will just wait for the dlc to all be released
This game was a huge disappointment and they know it.
Still need to go back and beat this... lol
@Rob_230 Same here plus I never beat the first game, need to do that first.
