Thing is you can still buy a remastered version of 3 in the PS4 trilogy and obviously play it on your PS5. Think they are going to the well too often really.

What I don't understand is why there is very little press coverage of Bloober remaking SH1? I mean I liked the remastered SH2 (despite not being fond of remakes in general) but we'd already had remakes of SH2 on PS3 so the fact SH1 is being remade is a result as that was 5 gens back lol.

I think with the above though it really has that Siren vibe. Not that that is a bad thing at all those 3 games were perfect IMHO. Slitterhead wasn't too bad by the same guy being involved but it didn't have the scares. Cracking US limited version though.

What would make me chuckle is if pyramid head turned up on vacation. Not likely of course.

@Oram77 I'd have to dig an old console out for that although can check on Youtube. Actually your spot on forgot how good he was when I played the last two probably didn't suss the voice actor had changed.

@LifeGirl I'm not so sure I mean Kratos is old in the last 2 games if they got someone in their 20s or 30s it would make no sense.
Despite liking the Riddick movies I hope it's not Vin. Or even worse Liam Hensworth.

@Dogbreath I'm finding the same issue, the difficulty goes up ridiculously when the map is more opened up. It's a good game and don't want to lower the difficulty to the easiest setting but might have to. Also the constant find the codes puzzles get a bit annoying too. I might take a break from it and play Cronos instead.

Not another damn remake, are these studios simply out of ideas?
Thankfully we have so many original IPs like Hell Is Us, Cronos rather than the above needless rehash.

Is this like those Room games on PC? Can't remember what they are called the Lost Rooms perhaps? They are pretty creepy. Also the ones set in the ocean that scares the crap out of me.

After the film and the utter pants that was 3 Hell no. So many decent games out there this month Cronos, Hell Is Us possibly Silent Hill f Borderlands is just a failed franchise on every level.

On Act 2 of Hell Is Us now and it just goes from strength to strength. This is one of those titles where it kinda comes out of nowhere (bit like Clair Obscur in that respect) and gives the big name titles a serious run for their money. Also it isn't a short game like some are claiming as there are so many secrets. Unless you concentrate just on the main story missions but you'd be missing a decent chunk of the game if so.

Morrissey is a legend, sadly too few with his talent these days especially in the UK...

I'll do exactly what I did with the PS5, wait a few years before picking one up as the PS5 launch titles were poor to put it mildly.

Despite DE being the only one in the series I haven't played really looking forward to next month's collection especially as it has all the DLC for each game included. Just wish they'd confirm if the first 3 games actually are PS5 versions the collection is advertised as PS5 but those three haven't got PS5 versions so far...

@Shepherd_Tallon It's only Soulslike in the fact you can wander around without it being totally linear in other words a lot of secrets to uncover. The combat isn't Soulslike at all let alone there are 3 difficulty levels so it's no way as difficult either.

@themightyant To be fair she is a franchise destroyer or as I like to think of her the Herr Stammer of movies. Everything she touches she ruins...

Hell no she's more popular for constantly featuring in the tabloids than acting skills at least here in the UK. This will clearly be more Rings Of Power than Fallout! Still to be fair outside of the games no movie version has even really done the franchise proud the best thing being Chris Barrie as the butler.

Nah, Resident Evil Requiem is my most wanted game of 2026 so far. Despite liking the last Hitman trilogy/World Of Assassination this doesn't feel like Bond. The lead isn't giving me 007 vibes for one let alone it looks a bit watered down likely like the next Bond movie will be. Is that the guy from Dexter Original Sin? If so despite liking that series again he isn't an ideal choice to play Bond either.

@BeyondKnight According to Bloober between 18 to 20 hours but they also mention it needs two playthroughs for some reason. A new game plus at launch helps with that mind.

Superb news, was hoping this would be a cracker. Surprised no review mentions the clear Twelve Monkeys influences in the plot though. Shame the soundtrack isn't included too and a cat featuring in the game should also be mentioned!

@CaptainWow I think it's fact the NPCs and the lack of activities outside the side quests/main story make the world feel kinda hollow. In other words it never really feels like a true open world game unlike say Skyrim, Fallout etc. I liked it for what is it but it's certainly not the second coming many made it out to be even after it was fixed. And that's coming from someone who played it 3 times including the original dire PS4 version!

Really looking forward to the 8CD set shame we have to wait till Feb.

6/10 ouch! Still on a plus this month is crammed with decent releases like Silent Hill f, Cronos, Hell Is Us so kinda glad my wallet won't take a further pounding from the above cobblers.

@Ainu20 Spot on with punters being careful what they buy. I used to blind buy titles during the PS4 era (and before) but not now. Well unless it's a franchise I trust perhaps or am a huge fan of like RE or SH.

It also doesn't help the price of games jumped in the current gen's life-cycle, something I'm sure didn't happen with previous gens.

Silent Hill f pre-ordered as can't miss that Amazon exclusive steel.
Will likely go for Cronos too and possibly Hell Is Us once we get a definite game length as 12 hours is way too short for a day one punt.

@Northern_munkey Worryingly Gamespot are reporting it's 12 to 20 hours depending on difficulty level. I find that a bit hard to believe as the demo took an hour or two to complete which means we've seen a good chunk of the game already. Also it seemed from the feel of the demo it was going to be a massive game but if it's 12 hours that's going to be a real disappointment. Cronos on the other hand is supposed to be 18 to 20 hours minimum, has a new game plus at launch and for some unknown reason as of yet should be played twice.

I am not shaken nor stirred by this news.

I'd be interested to know how long the game took the reviewer to beat?

After the last game let alone that damn movie can't see me picking this up til it's on PS Plus.

Based on what we've seen so far can't say it'll be a big loss if it is cancelled. Hopefully then these studios will see the money is in single player games rather than chasing what they foolishly think can rival Fortnite.

For me the demo totally sold me, sure it was a bit janky in parts but damn that atmosphere and setting let alone the soundtrack were enough for a punt. Think Cronos may have to take a back seat to this one.

Sheesh it sounds no worse than any MGS game up till Sons Of The Patriots. And it can't be any worse than Troy Baker's totally OTT cringe performance as Higgs in DS2 either which was the only downside of the clear GOTY so far.

Do we know if the UK physical version has the pre-order jazz?

Compared to last month that's a pretty ropey line-up.
First month I won't have downloaded one of the games by the looks of it.

I love all the souls games and with the exception of Sekiro have completed 'em all. But this I just can't bring myself to buy, it just seems a total waste of time.

Limited Run games, no thanks.

The demo is a good thing though. It saved me 70 sovs and any further time wasted on this game. It really is a FF16 clone just not a very good one. I did enjoy FF16 though.

@djlard I instantly thought much the same, the yellowy brown smearing effect isn't an eye catcher that's for sure!
