Is that the guy from Dexter Original Sin? He was good as a young Dex but as Bond not so sure. Still the last Hitman Trilogy was quality so this could be a belter. Just need to make sure it's not as short as each part of the Hitman trilogy mind.

@Oram77 Ethan was dull that is true they were going for an every man angle but if they'd had Leon or Chris the plot for RE7 and Village wouldn't have worked as you wouldn't be able to take seriously them taking that much shat.

@Oram77 Don't usually disagree with you but loved Village. Granted the last area was a bit poor after what had gone before but the variety on offer was godlike. OK there was some hokey plot bits like the daughter being stored in various cubes and Lady D was a bit bang on the nose for obvious reasons lol. I wonder who the main villains are going to be in Requiem, that early obsese Sadako one is obviously going to get offed early doors and the monks look like they wouldn't be out of place in Village or RE4. I do hope they don't bring Wesker back though but considering we are returning to Racoon City anything is possible. The name alone "Requiem" could mean a total return to the first two games.

In defence of SA the free DLC for AC: Mirage is pretty solid. And has a couple of scenes let alone a perfect soundtrack that have the "feels".

Cannot wait. My most eagerly awaited game of next year, Hell, any year. Ever since RE7 Capcom have not missed a beat with this series. Granted the remake of RE3 could have been so much more but regardless they are on a roll and doubt this will be a dud.

@SeaDaVie Removing jury trials; check. Digital ID; check. None of these things are "conspiracies" they are happening right in front of our very eyes. Even though I didn't vote for them I naively thought things could possibly be better under Labour or at least no worse than 13 or 14 years of the Tories making a mess of everything. How wrong I was.

@Toot1st They do have PS5's in the big house so I could easily manage a week or two not that I've typed anything that controversial. Also I have a massive winter beard so could easily pretend I've converted to blend in lol!

@SeaDaVie You'd have to be extremely naive to think ordinary plod aren't rounding up certain individuals at the bequest of higher ups. Ordinary plod likely don't want to arrest someone for a tweet they'd rather concentrate on actual criminals.

I wish I hadn't played this and RDR2 back to back about a year ago now. I bet they haven't included the Undead Nightmare Multi-player option again either. One of the best multi experiences alongside Factions even for folk like me who don't like multi-player much. Well and the From games and Monster Hunter Wilds as was useless at points and needed help.

They should never pander to western ideals or god forbid have a western diversity team with a tick list of rubbish to include. What makes the franchise special is some of those utterly batshat crazy sub stories which would never fly if the games didn't come from Japan. In fact it's what's drawing me to the remastered trilogy and Kiwami 3 this week I can't remember half the sub stories other than they were laugh out loud funny. Infinite Wealth was lacking that and outstayed it's welcome by a long mile. Hoping Hawaii makes up for it but can't start that till I've finished this damn free AC: Mirage DLC.

@Oram77 I have X as like to follow bands and it's the only easy way to find out about new releases/limited editions etc. But some of the commenting on there is insane. I'm not one for conspiracy theories although admit some like digital ID obviously are coming true but there are folkers banging on about chips in brains and aliens in charge of governments. Mental.

@Chip-Douglas It's getting worse by the day but on a plus at least people are waking up to how bad this current lot are not that the last lot were much better. The whole going to prison for a drunken internet comment or two is ridiculous. And to make matters infinitely worse now they are proposing or actually are going to scrap jury trials for those kind of thought crimes. In other words you could get trashed one night, be a bit incorrect online next thing you know you're in front of prejudiced judge with no jury and it's 3 years in the big house!

As to the flag I don't consider myself a patriot really, don't like football etc but a couple of months ago thought I'll put the union jack up in my window simply to make a point. So far no knock at the door or brick through window although they are bit soft around here so not likely.

@Vermines I saw a video on youtube last night about this go on there it shouldn't be too hard to find even though I can't find it with my addled brain this morn. I think it involves an elastic band or bit of string. There might even be a way to do it from the PS5 itself where it kinda alters the settings to adjust for the drift. However buggered if I can find that either.

@Oram77 Even when vino fell onto my PS5 it was more stable than mine that's for sure! Even worse this week is a nightmare for non game related boxsets. Gotta hide 'em all! Luckily usually postie or Amazon deliver 'em during the day.

Wish they'd stop using the rusty water color like the Ghost Of Yotei non-black detail only colors. Don't want to be reminded of a hot ruby when gaming.

Weird thing is whilst my PS5 went through a drying out period I returned to the PS4 and yes themes were better but the damn games seemed to drag. Not sure why The Last Guardian was shedloads better on PS5 as there wasn't a PS5 upgrade as far as I was aware but it was smoother. Not talking about loading screens or jazz like that but the game didn't lag.

@Czar_Khastik I just realised Y7 LAD means you have 3 games to go ignoring the remakes. The Man Who Erased... though is superb and shorter but think the ending was better than any of the others. Infinite Wealth straight after though that dragged a bit and the ending didn't hit as hard.

As long as it isn't like that last series of The Boys that chose a personal POV diatribe above a decent storyline. Otherwise Kratos will be fighting a Tango man in anything but name.

The croc and skulls indicate it may be a non total fantasy based game ruling out BG or any From franchise. If it wasn't for the creepy door I'd say another Assassin's Creed thing. The door however gives off Elder Scroll's vibes.

@Czar_Khastik It's annoying but first world probs I guess. Getting Pirate in Hawaii tomorrow as it was only 20 sovs on Amazon UK. And after the double whammy of Man Who Erased... and Infinite Wealth back to back a few months ago had to have a break from the series as was getting Yakuza/LAD fatigue. Still know I'm going to get that trilogy though that is a steelbook on PS5. The director's cut jazz for zero drew me in can't believe I'll be replaying them a third time. Mind you didn't zero have the best or weirdest PC incorrect side missions I could be wrong but sure some of them were so out there it was comedy gold.

Was there a steelbook version available of this for the PS5 or is it PC only? If so I'll wait till a serious drop in price for the bog standard.

If it was any of the remakes mentioned above surely the art would resemble something from the previous version/s which it clearly doesn't. Could be more Assassin's Creed or Elden Ring 2 if the skulls are anything to go by.

@Kienda Spot on, also a lot of UK parents won't be buying kid's Nintendo's for Christmas due to much the same reason.

Elden Ring should replace Demon's Souls. I'm surprised no-one really bangs on about the graphics as the landscapes even on a base PS5 are absolutely draw dropping especially the first reveal once out of the prologue cavern.

No time limit this time please, I know it's a franchise staple but it's annoying as Hell.

I'm really hoping we can get a true representation on PS5 of the Backrooms, some of the youtube videos look creepy as Hell. Without the critters the above doesn't really cut it.

I suppose the proof is in the pudding rather than just rant because they used AI. I mean if a game has AI in it and you enjoy it does it really matter? Personally I'm more interested in the automation of jobs, the trains in particular in the UK could vastly benefit from a non-Human element. And actually turn up on time.

@Oram77 With SH2R I think it was the bits they added that were perhaps unnecessary. I wonder if we'll get Born From A Wish DLC at some point?

They should delay this game let alone the trailer as long as it takes to polish it. We do not want another Cyberpunk (initial release) on our hands day one.

It really was a belter looking forward to my new game plus although too many new games on the list first. Pretty much a flawless title the one minor gripe was the stomp not being mapped correctly which could waste precious time. And in those battles sheesh did you need those few seconds!

Despite being a fan there seems very little in these to warrant what pretty much amounts to a third playthrough of each (or twice in 0's case). In other words, the originals, the PS4 Kiwami releases and now PS5. I think I'd rather have a new version of Dead Souls!

Obviously for new fans though this is pretty good if you get the collected physical trilogy.

The best buy unless you are going Pro is the black Ghost Of Yotei slim discounted on Playstation Direct, an absolute beaut. Not so much the runny stuff alternative model mind!

Sequels aren't the problem, it's the constant slew of remakes/remasters instead of new IPs or actual sequels that is the problem IMHO. Very few hit the mark SH2 being the notable exception of late.

Outlast Trials for me and of course the PS5 version of Red Dead.

@Mintie That makes more sense, wish they'd do a straight adaptation of FC4 though.

After Still Wakes The Deep they should have got more cash for this as the former was top drawer. Mind you haven't tried the DLC yet which get's mixed reviews...

An anthology series? How will that work do they mean each episode will be stand alone? Apart from having the name Far Cry this sounds ropey...

If people want to play a game for either the gameplay and/or the story can't see what the issue is that's their choice. Christ knows how many games I've zoned out during the dialogue scenes and looked at a second screen whilst the exposition rambles on. However obviously if a story is told very well I'm not likely to zone out...

Hell no if they are going to drop a still not fixed dud then hit and run! If there had been more forewarning perhaps someone would have sussed there were performance issues long beforehand. Did they have a review embargo too, if so that's even more shady. Then again a Bethesda game without glitches isn't a Bethesda game I guess.

@Frmknst To be fair the story hits (possibly not the ending though) and yes the soundtrack but for me it was the gameplay and graphics that were a bit average. Let alone the difficulty spikes reminded me of the original FF7 like you'd bump into a hidden boss and WTF is this? Only not as interesting.

@GirlVersusGame Yeah I don't think for one minute it was hiding what it was just saw the potential as a single player game. Never thought of the addiction thing before in gaming other than the hours I can sink into a game. Think that's why I loathe non-free/pre-order outfits if they cost!

@get2sammyb I'm not so sure, when I first started it it felt almost like the intro to Hogwart's Legacy meets a cute version of Stellar Blade. Minus the violence of SB of course! But then after those initial hours I noticed the gacha stuff and it put me off but fair play it's not likely to be marketed to non gacha fans.
