Still think this would have been the best game for them to try a non-gacha option. I tried it and enjoyed it for a few hours but then the whole gacha thing started getting old fast. On a plus it was free so can't complain but seems a waste of what could be a very good game behind the gacha...

@Oram77 Surprised you haven't tried Silent Hill: Ascension?
Mind you it no longer works on mine just buffers for some odd reason think I'll uninstall it the only damn sem-game I ever had on a phone.

@somnambulance I'm shocked DS2 doesn't get a mention alongside KC2D let alone Cronos come to that matter. I liked E33 for the story and soundtrack but gameplay for the above 3 was far more enjoyable than E33 which grated at times. I get the feeling people voted for it more as the underdog as it kinda came out of nowhere.

At the mo I'm currently turning to Korea for most of my entertainment as am sick to death of the box ticking that seems to dumb down actually being able to enjoy media in the west. Duty After School being the best recent dropping on Amazon what a show despite possibly a week ending.

@Oram77 Despite loving it and several repeats you are spot on squire it reminded me a bit of the Horizon games in that regard. There was very little emotional feels in either games/franchise, Hell with Horizon it was only the fact we lost a great actor in the real world that made a replay resonate.

@sanderson72 Cheers a pro would be nice if it's toast but am kinda hopeful as there doesn't seem that much sign of damage as the dust was still there (as I'd never cleaned it) so would think the dust would have kinda drained away if major spillage. Dug out my old PS4 today till I get the stuff for cleaning the PS5 (and new leads) it's retro Friday!

@VicerExciser To be fair I've played both games and their DLC and enjoyed them but think they are over rated doesn't make me some bigot or hater. Alloy for one isn't a patch on say Ellie from TLOS. People seem to think having a character who is pretty much emotionally detached and wouldn't be out of place working at a Wetherspoons is a God's Gift to gaming. But she has a certain look so if any male dares to criticize it's handbags drawn.

They need to be reasonable, it's all very well trying to charge the earth but a lot of peeps geographically are watching their moola for obvious reasons. As a result the above could fail at launch due to lack of interest as they've priced themselves out of the market. Yes not everyone struggles but Ordinary Joe will be the majority in any possible sales.

@Oram77 They better not stitch us up, I'm sure it's going to be superb but the witch from the demo didn't look that terrifying. In fact it looked like part of the Del Toro produced film Something In The Dark or Things to be afraid of can't remember the title.

Still cannot take guy from Heroes seriously as a soldier not that this looks like a real war anywhere. Has he done anything decent since Heroes come to that matter?

Is it live yet? On a slightly more pressing matter does anyone know what to do if you spilt a bit of liquid into a vertical PS5? For idiotic reasons we won't go into wine came into contact with the top of mine. I wiped the top and am using a dehumidifier but won't turn it on for a few days obviously. Vino isn't spirits so I'd hope no risk of an electrical fire once I get brave enough to turn it back on. I'm no engineer or part of DF so haven't a clue how these things work. I suppose if it toast it'll be a Pro but sheesh that expense is going to sting.

@Nepp67 Exactly this is where these properties always fail. Games are animated games not reality. I would argue The Last Of Us and possibly Fallout for casting are the only exceptions. It's going to be crap I'd like to be wrong but would bet wonga on it.

IMHO Japan, like the UK is a small market. Nintendo caters for kid's games on the most part I only considered a Switch to play Deadly Premonition 2 and didn't take the plunge. Factor in apart from people with big bucks most of us are loyal to one console and/or PC. Unless Sony drop major clangers with the console we're here to stay. I'm looking forward to my PS12 in my nineties.

It'll be Clair Obscur easily although think it gets the underdog vote as the gameplay really wasn't all that. The soundtrack was quality and the story too but that damn map was ropey to put it mildly. Still looking forward to the 8 CD soundtrack in Feb though and maybe a new game plus as they've patched a lot since debut.

Cronos should have been up there not sure why it isn't?

@Oram77 I must admit MHW has some screen tearing I've never seen in a game before. But Requiem won't tax the system I hope or be anywhere near an open world scenario. Either that or my PS5 is on the fritz hope not as am hunkering down and gaming as it's too damn cold to venture outside.

@Oram77 At this point I don't believe a word of what Capcom say not in a negative way just think they are playing us. Either way it's going to be an absolute blast loving Monster Hunter Wilds at the mo regardless what haters say. Same game engine in theory too and what a great community.

Deadly Premonition 2 for PS5 please as can't work out how to link a Switch 2 to 4K TV let alone will a first Switch game fit in the Switch 2?

Still not in with the new Ciri look. She's got a Cate Blanchett or even an Annie Lennox vibe going on. Ciri was more fun in W3 this one looks right up herself.

Life Is Strange: True Colors replay then Madison, a very underrated survival horror title in theory.

Having only played the first can't really judge but the general consensus here seem to be Yotei has better gameplay with Tsushima the better story. For me the story is secondary to the gameplay as it's not a movie but a game after all.

No physical edition for the Atelier trilogy is a shame I'd have had some of that action.

@IronCrow86 You can't compare the above average offering to a From title sheesh. I mean the PS5 version of Elden Ring (even on a base PS5) is visually stunning the above looks like a PS3 title and that's without factoring in performance issues...

GTA6 will be an event whether people like it or not. Wolverine on the other hand is just another superhero type game which we get every 6 months or so. As opposed to a GTA where we are lucky to get one a decade!

I actually enjoyed Veilguard for what it was so am looking forward to whatever they come up with. However I would like them to keep the darkness plot-wise of the original trilogy intact and not go ME Lite like Veilguard.

With Veilguard I guess the negativity was down to one scene, if they'd removed that I wonder if it would have received so much hate?

@Fiendish-Beaver Hopefully not characters from the games otherwise they'll be gender or race swapped. It pretty much says how bad the previous attempts are when the Anderson movies are better than the animated series, the last movie or the godawful TV show.

I have little doubt this will be any different it'll just be all filmed in the dark like Barbarian. Which also wasn't that good just hyped to the nines a bit like Shelby Oaks. I sometimes wonder if the reviewers or fans of these hyped horror movies have actually seen a real horror movie before.

I just want a decent sequel to Life Is Strange after the sub-par Double Exposure. Make Chloe the protagonist this time round like Before The Storm. Although with that damn superpowers/The Avengers/Heroes gathering ending of DE think they'll go a different direction.
