Same day as the Saudi funded AC Mirage content not sure which I'll go for first as haven't returned to GTAV since completing the PS3 version.

After the lacklustre Life Is Strange "Collection" let alone average Rebirth nothing surprises me from Square.

Don't buy it, look at Alan Wake 2 and Baldurs Gate 3, I waited a good year or so before picking either up physically but could have gone digital if I wanted. Worth the wait though especially that BG3 boxset.

@Nnfyrbsnss It's a new trend seeping into the UK a lot recently to shut things down. If a politician or councillor doesn't deem something to their liking they say "oh there is a security risk" then it gets cancelled. Scary times when any debate can instantly be terminated via a false reason because it doesn't fit one side's narrative...

Funny how these net zero types (let alone the goblin) don't target China or India when it comes to the environment. Till they do nothing will change at all certainly not opting for cheaper physical games as opposed to digital. And besides that it's been proven (in the UK at least) net zero is merely a term used to bleed even more money out of the taxpayer by Labour.

Little Nightmares 3 for me but haven't played Yotei may pick it up this week. Judging by some comments above even if you didn't rate the first game highly Yotei is a piece of art. I suppose I could new game plus Tsushima as can't for the life of me remember much about it. That in itself is all that's putting me off Yotei.

@11001100110zero Thing is can most gamers be assed to do that? Since the PS1 have just turned the on switch on, grabbed the controller and gone from there. Don't know how many PCs I've been through since then and each time I tried gaming it was BS left right and centre and never looked back. If it comes to the point where a PC is the only method of gaming I'm out.

As long as it's used as a tool to polish a product can't see the harm. Clair Obscur used it in much the same way.

Perhaps Stray 2 incoming? Personally I hope they go with one of the mogsters from the start of the game as the main character with the first's protagonist turning up later.

Unless they were sold or advertised as remasters I can't see the problem if they merely emulate the originals. However nostalgia is a tricky one as modern gamers may forget how the originals don't always age well. I gave up on the first Tomb Raider trilogy recently for much the same reason as didn't like the tank controls and the modern ones were even worse. It's why begrudgingly I can see the need for remastered titles if generations apart (SH2 or the upcoming SH for example).

Kingdom Come 2 or Death Stranding 2 although haven't tried Yotei to be fair. Clair Obscur will be the predictable win though. Not a bad game by any means but far from perfect.

@tameshiyaku If you replaced "White House" with "UK Government" you'd be spot on.

Totally confused, if the actor was recast for Kiwami why is there still a problem? Surely the new actors voice/image would be in the trailer? Or is it peeps annoyed about the recasting it's not that clear. Also if the new actor is in the trailer surely same peeps should be used to the fact by now? Again, all a bit confusing.

I wish they'd finally get round to sorting Oblivion so I can pick it up. Till then no sale.

@djlard Stray received far more favourable reviews than FF globally. Beat 'em Ups are a bit niche whereas puzzle platformers have a far broader base.

@Dalamar How is it a walking sim? A walking sim requires no skill you just make random choices and/or follow a non-linear story. Stray has puzzles and is a platform action adventure game. You may as well state Astro Bot or any Mario (non racing) game is a walking sim at this rate...

The Steelbook is now live on Amazon UK to actually order rather than yesterday's placeholder. It's also confirmed the deluxe physical edition has the exact same content as it's digital deluxe counterpart. The only minor quibble is the US version has a lenticular card included whereas the EU or UK versions do not. But of course there is a cheaper EU/UK lenticular slipcase version but that doesn't include the digital content outside of one wardrobe change.

Sounds promising like a cross between Dark Woods, The Forest and Crow County.

I'm just not feeling this, the gameplay looks like a Disney Star Wars show and the actress in Season 2 of TLOU didn't really stand out.
I hope I'm proven wrong but would much prefer a third TLOU game.

I don't know why but that screenshot has me in bits and making me think I'll buy a copy. I played the demo and it didn't seem too bad is that actually an in-game shot or photoshopped? If you have mogsters kicking off I'm sold.

TT won't be a problem in the UK as our wonderful and ever so democratic government have made it quite clear they want to ban it.

Have they patched the main game into a bearable condition yet though? Should be concentrating on that surely...

Jesus those deluxe extras are the kind of thing Village gave you for nada after a playthrough or several. However it doesn't bother me as I'll go for the physical Steelbook think Amazon are doing it here in the UK. Ironically that will be cheaper than the digital deluxe...

@Nepp67 If they did what difference would it make as you could still play on the default settings? I think the broader the options the bigger the fan base and sales meaning more games in future.
From are clearly shooting themselves in the foot as a lot of casual players are put off by the challenge.

Hopefully (if they want this to work) they'll choose the writers carefully as Netflix is getting worse than Disney for box ticking.
I'll reluctantly renew my subs to finish Stranger Things this winter mind.

PS2 was easily the best looking console with the first and fourth close. Still find the PS3 and PS5 pretty cheap and ugly looking.

Another bullet dodged by the looks of things. Wish current developers would take note, either do a total multi-player game or just single player not some mish-mash of both.

@species The eight CD set in February is an absolute steal at the pre-order price, really looking forward to it.

Although I enjoyed both parts as games the story just didn't hit the feels like the original. Hopefully they can put more emotion into the third part rather than a lite experience. And get rid of young Boris Johnson lookalike Chaddage!

@MrPeanutbutterz Hardly, it actually involves reflexes and is nothing like a walking sim as a result. It's more a platform actioner if anything.

@UltimateOtaku91 I'm on my second playthrough now and enjoyed it far more this time round. Mind you I'll give it a good while before a third run as the game doesn't change drastically enough to go for another ending.

Nevermind Killzone or Halo, let's get a new entry in the Resistance franchise. Failing that remasters of the original trilogy.
