November's PS Plus Extra and Premium games have been officially revealed, but are Sony's two most expensive subscription tiers still carrying their weight? Let's find out.
Admittedly, things do not get off to a positive start on Extra. Grand Theft Auto 5 is, somehow, the headline act, as if there are still people out there who haven't played the single most profitable piece of entertainment in history.
But hey, maybe you haven't played it on PS5 specifically. In which case, go nuts!
The rest of Extra's offering is relatively slim, although it is packing some highly rated (and rather weird) titles.
Pacific Drive, for example, is a potentially engrossing indie in which you explore anomalies from the comfort of your deeply customisable car. Still Wakes the Deep, meanwhile, is an eye-popping horror jaunt set aboard a Scottish oil rig.
So it's safe to say we've got some variety, especially when you factor in the hilarious Thank Goodness You're Here!. We would highly recommend blasting through this one in a single sitting, fully embracing its brand of English silliness.
And then we've got Premium, which, once again, is presenting subscribers with just one game. This time around, it's PS2 port Tomb Raider: Anniversary. Not quite a classic, we'd argue, but it'll be a nostalgia trip for some.
