Physint PS5

Kojima Productions appears set for a hiring spree in the coming months, as it's advertising numerous positions working on its upcoming projects in OD and Physint.

The studio is advertising open positions across its programming, art, administrative, localisation, sound, marketing, and writing departments in Tokyo, Japan. More specifically, the company is searching to recruit animators, character artists, game designers, game programmers, recording engineers, and much more.

Confirming the positions are attached to OD and Physint, the Kojima Productions social media account said: "KOJIMA PRODUCTIONS is hiring! If you’re interested in joining the development of our new projects “OD” and “PHYSINT,” check out the link below."

There isn't a release date attached to either project, though OD is expected to release before Physint. The former has been knocking around for years now, with horror movie maker Jordan Peele attached to the game. More recently, the "Knock" trailer was released, reaffirming the title's continued development.

OD is currently only confirmed for Xbox Series X|S, but given Microsoft's shift into third-party publishing, a PS5 version seems likely.

Physint, meanwhile, is assumed to be much further out — to the point where it could well be a PS6 game. It sees Hideo Kojima return to the Metal Gear Solid-style gameplay he famously worked on under Konami, and all we have is a poster (in the tweet above) and some confirmed character castings.

Charlee Fraser (Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga), Don Lee (Train to Busan), and Minami Hamabe (Godzilla Minus One) will star in the game.

Back in August, Hideo Kojima said he was the only person working on Physint, as it was at the "conceptual stage". In the next few months, at least, it sounds like he'll be receiving some support on the project.
