@get2sammyb Everyone is losing their minds. I honestly doubt MS is even considering Sega. I know they have deep pockets, but I don't think they're going to keep throwing more cash away. This recent acquisition is probably it for a long while. At least in terms of buying up publishers. Lol.
@nookie_egg I'm quite sure many can. Not everyone will see value. I personally don't. That's because I don't really play Bethesda games, so this deal with MS doesn't affect me one bit, and I'm sure there are a significant number of people who aren't bothered either. Let's not pretend everyone is going crazy over it. Lol.
@kingv84 No, I think that's just you baiting people to say that very thing. Lol. Good try, though. Whether this ends up being a good deal, remains to be seen considering it just happened. Until then, lay off the trolling. Bye now.
@Toypop Dude..just reading everything you said, it's clear you have zero clue on what you're talking about. Sony disposable? Just from this news? Get real. Bethesda is only a fraction of the gaming industry. Sony is still in good position, and they very well may just retaliate with a move of their own if they haven't yet behind the scenes. It's clear to me you're just the typical doom and gloom type that just likes to come in and misinformation. It's not working. We get it. You despise Sony. Regardless, they'll be fine and most of those games from Bethesda will come to PS5 as well because MS isn't going to throw away 7.5b on just Gamepass, and PC alone. Hence why most aren't even worried other than the minority who are quite vocal than the majority. That's all I have to say about that, and I'm done reading your nonsense. Bye now.
@TheGamerKing I'd rather they don't what MS is doing. Personally speaking, it's a shameful move regardless. I know they want to bulk up their Game Pass service, but it's definitely anti-consumer. I see people saying Sony did the same with Insomniac, but that's not even close to a comparison. One studio(that was pretty much a future Sony studio) isn't nearly as bad as several studios. It's not going to kill Sony, so people really need to relax on that. There's more to the industry than Bethesda. Either way, it's a sad move and kinda shows that MS can't really win unless they throw their money around. smh
Interesting. Well he said it takes advantage of PS5's feature set. That could mean a lot of things. My guess it means that it'll take advantage of the SSD with faster loading times(obviously) and likely ray tracing among those features. Though, I doubt it was built from the ground up with PS5 in mind. If that were true, then these games wouldn't be on PS4. I'm not bothered by it, as I look forward to playing HZD2 regardless, but it would have been best to just be upfront about it and not try to think that all your consumers are ignorant.
Looks like I got my PS5 pre-order in. At least I hope so. So far it shows up in my purchases. Both the Digital and Standard are up for pre-order for now(Best Buy). Hope everyone can manage to get one.
Been trying to pre-order from Best Buy(US) and can only get to the checkout. It's either the site is that messed up, or they sold out already. Regardless, it's disappointing.
@JohnnyShoulder I was referring to those with the "elitist" attitude, but yeah, I'm sure the average PC gamer is probably not happy about the update. Life happens.
@theMEGAniggle MLB is on there because Sony had to make a choice. Either bring the Show to other platforms, or lose the MLB license. Different situation.
@AdamNovice I doubt that. They published it in other regions, yes, but that doesn't give them any rights outside of the deal back during the PS3 era. Sony is releasing it to PC simply because there's a big community within Souls games on that platform. It'll probably be exclusive for a year.
@Richnj Regardless of sales on one platform, it still has the advantage of selling more being multiplat. I'm not saying that the sales on PS4 aren't relevant. My point is that the The Wticher 3's in general, are based on more than one platform. Whatever you and others are arguing about I really don't care about, and I'll leave that for others to debate about. Good luck.
@GilbertXI They are a 1st party studio. Therefore, it's pinned on them as well. When 343 isn't getting this game out on time, then perhaps MS needs to step in to get someone in there to get things back in order.
@Richnj Witcher 3 has the advantage of being multiplatform, while Spider Man is only on PS4. So in reality, Spider-Man would have sold more if it was multiplat as well. The sales for Spider-Man was 13.2 million last updated.
@Paranoimia Yep. People just seem to have it out for Sony. Of course, they're the market leader going into the new generation, so it makes sense that people are on their case. Even during the PS3 era, they seemed to get the same treatment. People don't like them I guess because of how they are able to bounce back from even the worst situations. Others hate them because of the whole SNES CD add on that took place many years ago. Some can't get over it.
@Matroska There will be PC gamers who say they won't buy the sequel until it's on PC. Of course, these are just the minority speaking on the internet. I'd imagine a significant number of PC gamers( who aren't crazy elitists) will buy a PS5 to play it, as well as other 1st party games. I mean there are plenty of PC gamers who own either a PS4, Xbox One, Switch or all three.
@H4ilHydra No one expects you to since you're just a consumer. However, from a business standpoint, that would be insane to do. Lol. PC isn't a competitor to neither Sony, Nintendo or Microsoft, so there's a reason they are released to PC.
@Arnna People just love to hate Sony. Or just expect them to throw all their exclusives on PC. It's obvious these people don't understand business at all. It's also hypocritical that they don't hold Nintendo to the same standard. Just because MS does it, doesn't mean everyone has to. Sony's 1st party sell practically like hotcakes, so there's no need for them to bring their titles to PC. It's also why there is no Game Pass like service from them as well.
@Johnathan1987 Well it may come as a surprise to you, but...you're only one out of millions of potential PC gamers that will certainly own a next gen console. Many PC gamers out there have a PS4 just for the exclusives, so it's quite probable than improbable. Not every PC gamer thinks the way you do.
@dark_knightmare2 The minute someone has to use the term "fanboy," isn't really prepared to debate anyway. Too many sensitive individuals on the internet these days.
@Akurusu You can have a pleasant discussion while talking about other brands. What Sammy said wasn't a dig nor was it disrespecting MS' Game Pass. His point was that sales like the Last of Us 2 is the reason why Sony doesn't have any type of Game Pass. That's simply it. If anything, you bringing it up in the first place didn't exactly help, now did it? It also doesn't help to call others "fanboys" because they don't agree with you, nor pander to your expectations. If you want that, try another site that suits your needs or start your own. Plenty of options out there. All in all, you're not worth my time, so good luck with whatever path you take.
I'll be laying it flat because I'm used to my consoles being as such and it's more convenient considering my setup. Definitely going for the standard as an all digital console wouldn't make sense since I have many PS4 games that are physical copies. Plus, digital tends to be more expensive anyway and you can't sell them if you wanted to.
@SanJ1 Sony doesn't have to do everything that MS does. Lol. They follow the beat of their own drum. Get over it. Rockman is spot on. The feature isn't a huge feature, nor is it really a new thing.
@Possessed What a joke of a comment you have. I guess that makes you a joke here. Also, if you are a PC Gamer, then why are you even bothering commenting on a PlayStation site? I'm sure you can find something better to do than trolling. Bye now.

Re: This Is What a Bloodborne PS5 Remaster Could Look Like
@Dodoo A sequel isn't happening anytime soon I'd say. Especially with From Software working on Elden Ring.
Re: This Is What a Bloodborne PS5 Remaster Could Look Like
@Woogy That's your choice. I find them to be worth buying again depending on what is done to said remasters.
Re: This Is What a Bloodborne PS5 Remaster Could Look Like
@KirbyTheVampire Could always not buy them. That's always an option.
Re: Yakuza: Like a Dragon PS5 Version Coming March 2021, Free Upgrade Confirmed
@get2sammyb Makes little sense to me considering this series is more linked to PlayStation than Xbox.

@Tchunga Then you're taking your anger out on the wrong people. Either way, I'm done talking about it. Have fun with that.

@Tchunga I think you mean retailers. Sony has no control over them. Lol.
