@DadJKP Clearly not. Otherwise, headlines like in this article, wouldn't exist.I mean it's clear as to why the show is getting negative reviews from fans. It's just not that good. It's about on par, or perhaps worse than the second game.

@Ambassador_Kong Spot on. Many viewers like myself don't really trust critics cause as you said, it's a cool kids club. Looking at RT, it's rare that critics and audiences will agree when it comes to a movie or show being good or bad.

@16BitHero Well, perhaps you should direct that at the media for making it a big deal in the first place. The whole divide on these topics are because they fuel the fire and we all get caught in it.

@dskatter I personally feel that critics tend to make things more political these days than the average viewer who probably doesn't really care about that. Personally speaking, I just feel it was a bad season, and I'm just not interested in the obvious political themes that Hollywood and the media want to push these days.

@KawakiisaFraud It's a saturated market to begin with. That and Sony's current culture within their studios will kill it before it even releases. Concord is a cautionary tale.

Sure, I'd imagine there are plenty of people who are upset of what happened in Last of Us 2, but to pretend that the dislike of their newest title is because of that, is a stretch. Unless you have evidence of that, please cite it. Otherwise, it just appears to be your disdain of those who hate on games you like. Last of Us 2 being a brilliant game is an opinion, regardless whether it's a popular or unpopular one.

@KundaliniRising333 Nice to see some common sense. I get people love a certain ecosystem that they've grown attached to, but it's unhealthy to believe nothing is wrong with the industry today. While it is nice that many are seeing it now and calling it out, there are still plenty out there that would rather shut down opinions than debate about it. Being compliant is why these companies push bad practices.

@KidRisky It's sad that it's easy to manipulate people into fighting their losing battle. In the end, consumers win over big corps. If you want consumers to buy your games, then make a good one and lay off the phobes and isms.

@dschons I'd say it's on point. It's a waste of resources that could go into more game development rather than a mid-gen upgrade. If Sony thought the standard PS5 wasn't going to be enough power for what games they want to dish out then why not just have that on hand at launch? It's just another cash grab that gamers get duped into. Kinda like pre-orders.Just my opinion.

I'd rather they spent time and money on new games than a portable. I did enjoy the PSP way back, but those days are over.

@KaiBrunnenG Most of the time it's best to just stick to the original. Most of these remakes apart from Resident Evil 2 and 4, tend to leave a lot to be desired. With this SH2 remake, it's more of them just chasing after this fictional "modern audience."
