@get2sammyb I honestly don't see the big deal. Those who know about it(which are many within the PS community), are aware it's a sequel to Zero Dawn. Adding the "II" into the logo is more so for those who aren't familiar or simply new to PlayStation.

@SaikoWaifu2003 You won't be playing them for at least a few years at best. That's also if they do indeed release them onto the PC which I doubt. Unless you meant PS Now, then that's entirely different.

@SoftMandalorian They're not. The title was announced as "Horizon: Forbidden West" during the PS5 reveal. The "II" within the title is simply there to let those who aren't familiar with the previous game, that it's a sequel to Zero Dawn.

@Neolit Hard to say. I think they're going to keep it for PS5 for now as they obviously need selling points to get the ball rolling. I can see it coming to PS4 after maybe a year. It would certainly be insane to leave out 100 million of an install base.

@Neolit I don't see it happening. I believe the expansion is made only for the PS5 remaster in mind. But hey, you never know.

@Blacksmith1985 If you heard, they said there is more to come before launch. They plan on having more events. I'm sure they'll talk more about the hardware in due time.

@YepYepYep Not sure why many don't like the console. I think it blends in quite well with it looking like a router. I believe most don't care for the design because they are so used to how previous hardware has looked over the years. To each their own.

@maruse Your avatar fits you well. I also love your exaggerated responses. PS4 and Xbox One era had a number of remasters and remakes, but they make up less than 10% of their game libraries at most. Probably not even that. Get a grip.

@AhmadSumadi I think his comment is hilarious because he claims Sony 1st party will be on PC in a few years(which hasn't been proven to be Sony's plan anyway), but he's going to buy an XBSX which most games including 1st party will be on PC practically day one. I don't get the whole logic in that, but I digress.

@sanderev Most of their games(on XBSX) are going to be on PC, as well as most of their 1st party. Isn't that the reason you're not getting a PS5 anyway? Where I come from, they call that being a hypocrite. By your logic, you shouldn't buy either console. Lol. I don't see a win here that you're claiming, but I do see plenty of fallacy from what I've from within your comments.

@Lifestranding It's because it's likely being published by Sony and perhaps they also own the IP. I'd imagine if they did indeed acquire them, we'll know about it soon enough. Personally speaking, they'd be a perfect addition to the World Wide Studios family.

@Matroska Probably by about a year I'd say. I really wish they would just stop with the timed exclusive marketing. Nothing is truly exclusive like it was back in the 6th and 7th gen. They really need a better word to use to market timed deals.

@Matroska I think they mean it's designed for the PS5 in terms of consoles, and not PC per se. So basically, PS5 and PC. Who knows how long that lasts. The term "exclusive" doesn't really mean a lot these days and is just simply a lie half of the time.

@AdamNovice It'll probably have another handful to show off in a month or two. Most likely will be revealing the release date and price of both the standard and digital console during the same event.

Day One purchase. I'm thinking a 2021 release.

@Eldritch Uhm...you just compared the US(One country) to Europe( a whole continent). I'm pretty sure that's not how it's compared. Also, Europe is a larger continent than North America, so of course it has more sales overall. However, the US alone, has the largest market individually. Hence why the event was cancelled. Not trying to say Europe isn't important(because it is), but it's just a fact that the U.S. alone, has a lot of impact around the world.

@Cartmanbruh Europe isn't that much bigger than North America and don't see why it matters either way as both are pretty much on par with sales. I will say Sony dominates Europe by a lot over Microsoft, so I doubt they'll forget about it. Lol. How they incorporate that into one blog is anyone's guess. I'd imagine they figured out a solution otherwise, they wouldn't have merged them together in the first place.

@Chryssy75 I'd imagine they are hearing all the complaints. Problem is that gamers expect them to just wave a magic wand and everything magically appears. That's just not how it works. Maybe they'll get what they want, maybe they don't. It all depends on what is possible with the hardware they have to work with.

@Ptpete I'm sure we'd all love to have everything, but unfortunately, we don't live in a perfect world. I'm content with PS4 b/c, as that's really as far as I'll go with b/c in general. I think that PS Now will eventually evolve and become a bigger service that offers PS1, PS2, PS3 and PS4 games in the future. With any luck, at a fair price.

@Truth_Stalker If you can't handle opinions(which yours means about as little as the space between your ears), then perhaps you should look over the ones that bother you and converse with those who agree with you. Simple, right? Otherwise, expect that not everyone is going to be in agreement. I comprehend just fine what people are trying to say, I just don't agree with them. If that gives you disdain, then many people must live rent free in your head I guess. It's the internet. I'd grow a thick skin.

@Chryssy75 Sony can do a lot of things, but they aren't required to nor really have to to be honest. They are moving in their own direction. I know that may bother those small number of gamers that don't like it, but they do have options elsewhere. I'm buying a PS5 day one as well, and I'll be using it for new experiences. But hey, maybe they'll give everyone b/c with ps3, ps2 and ps1 when they feel it makes sense.

@Shepard93n7 I'd imagine that even most Xbox gamers who are looking forward to Series X, are buying it for new experiences, and not last gen ones. It's simply the vocal minority that see to make it appear as if everyone wants it.

@FKUBT I think the funniest thing here is people like yourself think it's a loss when no one really even uses it. It's no different than a kid getting a toy from his parents. He/she will play with it for a bit, then said toy sits in a closet collecting dust for months or even years. That's b/c in a nutshell. You may see it as downplaying it and that's your opinion, but the real fact of the matter is it's not a huge feature that everyone buys a new console for. They buy it for new games. Have a good one.

@NeilBreen Remasters are only a small number of games vs. thousands of others that haven't been. Remasters are games that are usually classics, not at random. Was a nice try, though.

@Jarobusa The only thing that will matter to me when PS5 and Series X release, is new experiences. What you mentioned will probably be enticing to the very small number of gamers who will use b/c. However, I'm not one of them. Also, trying to talk up a console that really only has one selling point(which doesn't say much) isn't really helping.

@Freakdahouse Lol, no. There really isn't a lot of money made into it. Most of those who will use b/c (very small in number), already have their games and will buy any games they don't have , second hand instead of new. So yes, b/c isn't all that important to most who buy new hardware.

@djlard The answer is obvious. Buy a new one, or keep complaining. The latter is counter-productive and the former is rather a cheap purchase. However, your PS2 runs, so?....

@themcnoisy If you want to play your old games, then play them on the hardware they were intended for. Be happy you'll have PS4. I'm willing to bet, that you won't even use it much once PS5's library has more than enough new releases to keep you busy.

@GoblinKing86 Spot on. I don't know why people think this is some type of win. The majority of those who buy a new console, buy it for the new experiences. I mean it is a nice feature, but even I wouldn't use it that often with all the new releases taking up my game time.

@AdamNovice Yep. I sure don't. I want new games, and I'm sure the majority will have the same sentiments. B/C is just an added bonus, and not a requirement. If you want to play your older games so bad, just hold on to your old hardware. Still have my ps3 and 360 hooked up.
