Atomic Heart has always looked like a really mental game, but boy does this latest trailer take the cake. Team Mundfish has shared the latest look at the FPS in a new trailer that also (sort of) confirms its release window for later this year. It will launch for PlayStation 5 and PS4 in "#######BER", according to the trailer. So we're looking at September, October, November, or December. Basically, expect Atomic Heart to release in the last few months of 2022.

The trailer itself really needs to be seen to be believed, though. Apart from some pretty dodgy lip-syncing, this looks like a mashup of BioShock and your typical FPS. We see glimpses of shooting, melee action, and even some special power usage. You might also recognise the soundtrack used, because it's Mick Gordon of DOOM fame behind it. The game is described as "an action-packed first-person shooter set in the alternative, retro-future version of the 1950s USSR". Sign us up.
