I could have sworn the last I heard about Casey Hudson’s new studio was that the project had been cancelled or something.

The little information for this does sound good though 🤞

EDIT: Looking into it, the studio he formed after leaving Bioware did indeed close down at the end of 2024 after their project failed to get enough funding. So this must be another start from fresh and means this must be barely more than an idea at this point.

So we’ll see this around the time ps6 pro is launched

Oh hell yes. I remember playing the original way back in the early 2000's I believe? Loved them.

My new #1 most wanted game. Literally bought an Xbox back in the day just to play the original two games.

I hope Disney doesn't interfere though. They've been either doing that, or just hiring the worst writers around since they took over.

I never did manage to play KOTOR, but this sounds great.

But I think I need to reserve judgment until some more solid news arrives. I shall wait, and see.

But, with this one, and Drew Karpyshyn’s new game Exodus, hopefully coming along next year, it is a good time for us science fiction fans.

Still awaiting more definite news on the next Mass Effect. There was a poster, and a sort of teaser clip, but that was a long tine ago now.

Hmmm. I still feel burned by Anthem. And was looking forward to Knights of the Old Republic so gonna wait to see more of this.

But Anthem's marketing was full of lies and bs (in my opinion) so I'm not willing to trust anything about this one until it is out.

This... raises a lot of questions.
In the old republic... when?

This is not KOTOR 3 like some miscreants were in delusion of to the rest of their days. That story had been told.
So, this is either a side story during SWTOR, that is still ongoing, or takes place after? That is the big question. A galaxy on the brink of rebirth presumes that it's after or in parallel with the current arc.

With that said, the cynic in me knows that this is a pitch trailer more than anything and they are looking for funding. I don't want to get excited before i know this will be real.
The remake should still be coming. I was surprised we didn't get news. The remake should release way before this does. I am thinking 2027 release with unveil next year.

Seems cool, but I can’t get excited for these sort of trailers. This gave me basically nothing.

I'm looking forward to this but I'd be surprised that this launches before the ps6 so hopefully it launches on ps5 too. I'll be getting this when it launches.

@Nem This is a title that will take place in Disney’s defunct Old Republic branch. It’s the biggest reason as soon as I saw this I shrugged and didn’t think much of it afterwards. I’m sure they’ll say Revan, and Malek but not be cannon to either KOTOR, or Old Republic mmo. Also Drew Karpshyn not here either is a big con.

This trailer is plainly only stock boost to please shareholders 😂

@Sbee Yes, i forgot to mention that the other choice is that they recanonise the whole thing.
With the remake coming soonTM i guess they can change the lore.
