With the full release now only a few months away, Team Ninja has announced it'll be releasing another Nioh 3 demo to play on PS5. It'll be available from 29th January 2026, just a week before the game launches, and you'll be able to carry your progress over.
The PlayStation Blog post detailing the demo doesn't reveal exactly what content will be on offer, but it does share that there'll be online multiplayer support for up to three players.
Additionally, new exclusive bonuses for players who will receive the early purchase bonus have been revealed. These players will receive bonus armor sets inspired by the protagonists from the previous titles, the “Youngblood Armor (Samurai)” worn by William in Nioh and the “Lone Wolf’s Armor (Ninja)” worn by Hiddy in Nioh 2. These items will be obtained by redeeming the early purchase bonus “Hellfrost Armor Set” in game.

Really looking forward to Nioh 3 after playing the first demo - however - just noted the insanely high pricing of this game on the PS Store. It's no wonder AAA publishers are struggling with this oblivious approach to market realities with current aggressive competition from high quality free-to-play titles and indies.
@Silenos agreed. Both my Mrs and I are huge Nioh fans, we played through all the demos and both games, both individually and together and had an amazing time...but even we balked at the pricing for Nioh 3, especially as we'd want the season pass bundle 😓
It's a definite purchase for us, but it's got us considering just waiting a couple of months for a sale. It's not like we don't have anything else to play in the meantime... In fact, we'll probably still be getting stuck into Wo-Long seeing as it's hitting PS Plus Extra.
Nioh is one of these games where it’s best to wait until all dlc is out and then buy the complete version at 15-20$. I love niohs though, more than souls and other souls likes except maybe Sekiro.
