Sounds awesome! Really want to play this game but I must ask... does it have a "I have 9 month old and absolutely no time to master combat techniques or any difficulty and just want to beat awesome boss fights" easy mode? I guess is called Twitch or YouTube

@ShogunRok when I get a free game (either ps plus or f2p) and I enjoy and do play the game, I tend to "waste" a few € buying cosmetics in order to support the developer.
Rocket League and Fall Guys may be the best examples I can remember, however, 45€ for a skin... I don't have that much support to give

@get2sammyb I think you mean "inside the park home run".
That one and the SP hitting a homerun are not that easy; although if your starting pitcher is Ohtani then that one will do.
For the inside the park it may be easier with the create a stadium stuff, or if you cheat with sliders

@ShogunRok I love both games, Uncharted 4 I did played regularly, Lost Legacy I took long (1 week) breaks between chapters and it felt good

@weR1youR2Podcast there's a trophy for permanently learning a skill, so my guess is that it could just take time to fully build up and bully your way through the game... hopefully

Sony (PlayStation) has been operating in full Bowie mode the last couple of years, so who knows? Why not making a huge announcement on a Saturday midnight…

this will become an interesting situation... everyone is thinking about the market power of XBox/MS which is clearly there, and is clear that Sony will take a hit if Call of Duty is out of their environment.
On the other hand, Activision games if they become XBox only will likely earn less money, which then makes Activision a less valuable asset, plus if they become GamePass games as they most surely will, we can consider that the earnings of your yearly CoD game will be much much less than it is now, making it a depretiated asset.
MS game is to starve Sony to death while dealing with huge losses, but if PlayStation survives as a brand for long enough, XBox could be the one finding itself in trouble

@get2sammyb back in my home country there's a saying that roughly translates to "you don't inspect the teeth of a gifted horse"... so yes I'll add them to the library
who knows if and when I'll be happy to play these games

it is Silent Hills Abandoned, it stars solid snake and the app is no such thing, is a free demo that will unlock after the trailer...
oh and the first one to finish the demo will get a visit from Kojima itself!

If you are a Playstation + PC/XBox gamer you'll wait for it to come to GamePass
If you are an Playstation only gamer (as it is my case) it'll fall in one of these 3 options

• You are pissed with Bethesda and it'll be giving money to Microsoft, so no, you will not buy it.
• You are excited about a possible last tittle in Sony's console coming from Arkane studio and you buy it (but maybe not at full price)
  or as it is my case
• You don't have the time and/or money to invenst in a new IP whose sequels (if it happens to be good) will not come to your console of choice.

So... sales will not even justify the money Sony expended on getting the timed exclusivity. The one move they can make to save the game is launch it on PSPlus or PSNow

To me it sounds (or I hope it sounds) like they are creating the Animus, which makes sense... if is some kind of hub in which you can go and choose solo experiences or multiplayer (co-op or competitive) and jump around assasins and time lines, it could be awesome!

this is hillarious, it seems every move to prove they're real makes them look less real!
I mean proving your existance beyond the mere fact that you indeed exist is not an easy thing to do, but boy... this is just absurd!

It is kind of funny how the guy had to do the video with nothing but his face on screen, probably even the color of the walls would have been taken into scrutiny.
That being said, he looks like an actor and the lighting is very... well... silent hillish... lol

I still believe it's too much exposure given by Sony to a unknown developper with not much to say about it's project... besides that who knows what's going on, is fun though

To be fair, whatever the game will be it already has it's share of publicity and, if it happens to be Silent Hill (or something similar) it'll be just too fun how the whole thing has developped

@get2sammyb I'll double the bet, their apology doesn't say they are NOT working on Silent Hill... this is what I choose to read:
"... We have no relations with Konami" = We work with Sony
"Silent Hill is owned by Konami" = But Sony got use of the license
"We do not have any relations with Hideo Kojima" = turns the big chair around and faces the camera while saying "I AM Hideo Kojima!"

I can believe the quotation, if they add all the hours all over the world and you compare them to individual football matches (any of the two), F1 races, NBA, MLB and so on... they may only lose to the Super Bowl and the World Cup finals...

@GoodGame I love VR, but all the games that you move with the joystick are awful for me when it comes to motion sickness, other games like Astrobot are no problem.

@rjejr yeah, you're right about technology... there was a Simpsons episode in which they show a deep frier to Homer and it went something like this

And that may be the difference between PS4 improved games and PS5 versions of games...
For a game that (it seems) wants you to die, long loading times are awful

@rjejr I have been playing it now, and if it's only improvement in textures and loading times it'll be an awesome improvement. As an owner of an awesome TV I'm looking forward to it, since it does feel like the game needs more than what the PS4 can offer

@rjejr @get2sammyb I don't think there's a game that has ever done double headers... maybe Bo Jackson's back in the NES era (or was it Super NES)
The man on second rule I actually like, specially in today's game of strikeouts, but baseball is a grandparents game in the sense that they refuse and fear change
The reliever rule I'm sure is in, I tried to change one after a batter and didn't offer the option and in Franchise mode you can choose the universal DH

Theoritcally: the ball lights on the color on the pitch and then you identify the pitch, move the left joystick towards the ball depending on the pitch break so you can barrel it aaaaaaaaand then swing on perfect timing depending to the pitch speed
They say hitting is the hardest thing in sports, I guess is also the hardest thing in gaming

@Tasuki how it went? my first inning with the new pitching controls was a 7 run 2 hits infinite amount of walks catastrophe, 2 or 3 games later I got a shutout
