@huyi yup, much more interested in that then anotger Skyrim. Especially since the ps3 versions of those games ran extremely poor and were never fixed

I'll definitely get this but probably after a price drop and a few patches. Forking out 60 euro seems a bit steep, especially if you need your mates to do the same

I bought it and tried but unfortunately my gf is a bit terrible in video games. Well actually, she's not THAT bad, it's more that she doesnt have the patience for it and she thinks that I think she's terrible... result is she's not having fun.. shame because the game was really cool

After the horrible launch of BF4 they had a few decent launches with BF1 and 5, but 2042 seems to be on course for another disaster. Please don't pre order, everyone. Wait for them to fix it and only then buy it.

@Willbdon45 the wacky guns in this years farcry dont really do it for me.

Im interested in back4blood. Hopefully I can motivate some friends to buy it too. We're going to VR gaming next week to kill some zombies so hopefully that will get them hyped lol

@Ev3X well then the answer is 'No' even more. scummy business practice of selling 'early access'. Basically the same as pre order bonuses cut from launch content. The content is allready there, they're just selling it to you in pieces.

Pre order for access to the beta. Hahahaha ehhhh no. First you release the game. Then we wait for reviews. If reviews are good and the game is stable I might consider a purchase.

It's a pre-order, you hand over money for the promise of some kind of product in some kind of shape (good, decent, or downright terrible) down the line. I don't see how that changes by releasing what is essentially a demo, or perhaps a 'beta', before that product is released.

Wow that's a bummer. After all this time still a delay. But yeah better this than a buggy game.

Skillup reviewed it and came to the conclusion that it's just more of the same. I think it'll be fun to play but only at bargain bin price for me. I did like FC5 especially with a mate, the guerilla theme and wacky weapons of 6 don't appeal to me though.

Maybe the rushed release has got to do with the licenses that they have right now and want to make use of. As that has allways been an issue for PES

@Futureshark correct but it would change every few minutes so that got annoying real fast. And so did the constant thunderstorms so that really dragged down the experience for me unfortunately. Such a weird design choice in my opinion

Does anyone know if you can now turn off the 'infinite thunderstorm' if you're playing too much 'ghost' style?

That really turned me off from the main game in the 2nd and 3rd act..

@ApostateMage yeah same here. The game really started to shine after that moment. The sense of freedom that gave me was insane. That moment was possibly only topped by leaving the vault in Fallout 3.

I have very fond memories of vice city as well, but SA takes the crown for me.

I've now waited so long I'll just wait for a ps5 and then I'll play it on there.

Man, the original Carmaggedon was such a crappy game even for it's time. The only thing it had going for it was mindless gore, which admittedly was kind of fun for a while. but the gameplay mechanics were awfull

I'm not happy with them, I'm also not complaining about them. A couple times a year I get a game that I wouldnt have bought otherwise and I might actually play, that and the online features are why I pay for plus. So a bad month now and then doesnt keep me awake at night

I liked it at first but at some point I couldnt progress without help from the internet which kinda ruined it.

Also I did the final cycle knowing exactly what to do but somehow messed up the password and couldnt be arsed to do it again so never actually completed it lol

I honestly think this says something about humanity and our ability for empathy. That even in a video game we feel bad for a bunch of pixels and are inclined to do the 'right thing'

@get2sammyb If you go into it not expecting too much it's for sure a fun experience. Decent story, dialogue, character development and voice acting. Good graphics and ambiance, creative setting, some fun gameplay elements and doesn't outstay it's welcome in my opinion. Okay now it sounds like the perfect game but it's not earth shattering stuff

I olay PES20 regularly with a mate. It's fun but I wouldnt necessarily say its better than FIFA. We had to look up a lot of the mechanics because it wasnt explained and often doesnt even makena lot of sense.

But my main gripe is the defending mechanic which boils down to pressing and holding X, and to make it more difficult the referee is super strict which just isnt fun. Sliding tackles are allmost impossible to do without a foul, and imo executing a good sliding tackle in FIFA is half the fun of the game,

@gollumb82 yeah same here. I think it'll be a proper sim though because the PS5 doesnt have one yet.

@gollumb82 Enjoy! PC2 is a great game with loads of content and much better then PC1 imo. It does take some fiddling with menu settings before you're properly up and running though, but that's no different from PC1.

Apart from the loading times it ran pretty good on the Pro. Fantastic game in my opinion

If the PS5 is available I reckon I'll get one and make use of that free next gen upgrade. Fingere crossed the game is a lot more stable when the PS5 version is released

@Denni5m I think theyve struck a good balance between realism and accessibility. The F1 license must cost a fortune so off course they need to appeal a broad demographic.

You also have to consider F1 cars are wildly different from your average GT3 cars which are much easier to drive on the limit. Making it a proper sim would mean only a very small percentage of people would get anywhere near consistent laptimes (and fun races..)

I hope this coincides with a massive patch that will really elevate it to the next level

I wanted the original NFS Hot pursuit remastered. Man that was a great game. Played it with a voodoo 3d card XD

I hope they take it to a direction without lootboxes, battle passes and more of that nonsense. I played some Bf4 lately and was really enjoying it again. Unfortunately I dont see them reaching that high anymore allthough I dont want to sound cynical lol.

Well I wouldve preferred a remake rather than a remaster so I suppose I have to keep my expectations in check. And they did remake some elements of ME1.

But I'm a bit disappointed by some performance issues on PS4 Pro and a number of glitches. But all in all it's definitely a decent remaster and not just a shameless moneygrab. I rate it somewhere between 7 and 8.

Far cry 5 was a lot of fun in coop. But Im afraid this is a bit too wacky for me

@ShogunRok Yeah it's generally good and not gamebreaking. But really you're better of switching to quality mode in the citadel. Have not yet arrived in the citadel yet in ME2 (must first restart the game 12 times before I'm satisfied with my custom character, as usual...)

About the performance, I'm on a PS4 Pro and just finished ME1 on performance mode, but the framerate takes a serious hit in the citadel and it leads to a lot of judder which is really a shame.

Nice. Been waiting for ages. Zero chance of a pre order though. Will definitely wait for reviews to hit first.
