Outer Wilds, not to be confused with The Outer Worlds, is the neat space-faring, time-looping adventure game from Annapurna Interactive and Mobius Digital. It's a beloved game with a fascinating premise; every 20-odd minutes, time resets, and you have that window in which to explore the miniature, physics-based star system and unravel its mysteries. You slowly find all the pieces and put them together to understand the wider picture — it's pretty great. If you thought it was a one-and-done, though, think again.

Mobius Digital has announced Echoes of the Eye, an expansion coming to the game on 28th September. Given the game is heavily reliant on its story, details are fairly slim, but we do have this creepy, mysterious teaser trailer to enjoy while we wait. It's not known how much the expansion adds to the game, or indeed how much it'll cost, but fans will no doubt be all-in for a new mystery in this universe.
