Criterion’s revitalised racer Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered will be the next title added to the EA Play vault, starting 24th June for all members. As is always the case with the service, members will be able to download and play the cops-and-racers classic at no extra cost, as long as they retain their active subscription.
We loved this game all the way back on the PS3, and felt that this no-frills re-release was worth the price of entry in our review: “Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered brings back a fantastic arcade racing game, and is still brilliant fun 10 years down the line. Autolog feels right at home in 2020, and the over-the-top cops-and-racers gameplay is a blast.”

AKA as free on Gamepass!
Great little need for speed title. It has performance mode aswell which is always nice.
Always felt the service was a bit overpriced for what it offers. Unless you absolutely love every single game EA puts out you'd be best served picking them up individually. Maybe if they threw in the DLC it'd be a much more tempting offer, especially with all the DLC that the sims pumps out.
@ATaco - At £20 a year it's hardly overpriced but it definitely has far less value on Playstation than any other platform due to no legacy game support. There are plenty of great games missing from the library if you sub through Sony.
I wanted the original NFS Hot pursuit remastered. Man that was a great game. Played it with a voodoo 3d card XD
Great game..awesome fun..the best no frills pure arcade racer at the mo..
Loved this on the PS3.
Completely forgot I bought this on the Switch because I thought it would a decent portable racer. It’s still sitting on my shelf in the wrapper. Haha.
Looks like I’ll replay it on Game Pass.
@Shigurui compared to other game subscription services I'd say it is on the expensive side, even compared to stuff like ps now for what it offers.
But yes, the value is probably there if you subscribe to EA play on PC.
