Id take Starfield, all the others I've played so many times I've lost count. I've recently played Starfield on my deck and it was a great game, but I can imagine it being so much nicer to play on the PS5. MCC and gears, while great. I've done. (Unless they remake gears 2&3 like the first one)

Been playing it today on the deck and so far I'd definitely say it's a step up from the original, seems more in depth. The same addictive gameplay! Very good for something that's early access and is only bound to get better.

Perfect for my deck, but I'll hold fire. Plenty of backlog. Only just got a deck so I'm stacked. Does look promising though!

In all honesty, I was originally all in for the pro, but until I actually see some regular full on ps5 games I honestly don't see the point. Plus I've just spent cash on a steam deck (which is superb)

I'm going to be hugely in the minority, but I always play on 30fps, I've dabbled with various FPS settings over the years and I can never tell the difference (my eyes are awful though) but. I can when it comes to sharpness, so like with my Sky, I've always gone with the 4K option where possible. But I do agree that there should be multiple options for everyone, most people want the 60.

I actually had an Xbox during the last generation and did upgrade to the One X and was worth it. So I'll be doing the same most likely for this. But like others have stated, we do need pure PS5 games for any enhancements to actually be worthwhile.

They should definitely add in like a "summon" on this, where when you reach a certain hit counter, your eikon can do a one off special move. I know it doesn't necessarily work as such, but I love that old style of summoning. I wish FF7 Rebirth had that old style.

@Darude84 personally I prefer rebirth, but I love the 2nd main act of the original. That's where most of my memory lies within 7. It's like anything I suppose, nothing can capture the original essance of a game. It would be the same if X got remade. They try toi hard to make something better, when in reality it was already incredible. And that there's a reason we fell in love with that particular game at that time. Weirdly 7 isn't my favourite but I have the fondest memories of it.

Rebirth is great, I really enjoyed it for sure. But.. I think if FF7 didn't exist and this was a totally new game, it wouldn't hit quite like it does. Most of us interested in this game grew up playing the original.

Used to love Ghost recon back in the day! Can't remember the last first person one they did, but had to be the original Xbox days. Last one that was decent for me was probably Advanced Warfare.

A good 8 for me! While I think the overall story is great, I agree there is a little too much padding. So much stuff that is completely irrelevant. I cannot bring myself to go around collecting every little thing. But the story I love, which is why I was there. I just wish.. 1. They wouldnt lock summons behind chadley. Hide them in unique places (making us work to find them) just like the original. And 2.while I love Vincent and Cid, maybe it would have been better to delay their involvement. Seemed a bit strange them hovering in the background. Could have introduced them but not have them accompanying the story.

I think the OG7 is my favourite, but only because of what it meant to me as a kid and thats where it all started for me. However, I deeply love 9 and even 8. Played them all again recently and they still hold up very well. Graphics doesn't overly bother me with rebirth tbh, aslong as everything else hits.

Used to organise the London one, it's a very surreal experience. Some are good and some are incredibley bad... Haha! Great events though for sure.

Literally just finished the final chapters of remake again and 100% rebirth looks better. Not huge amounts in it for sure, but definitely better. Not that I care anyway, if the game is good and I enjoy it thats all that matters.

Decent demo, tbh it's a segment I have skipped plenty of times on the original, so I don't seem it to be something that will ruin the game for me, but it's nice to see it realised in to something much bigger than the original. and the music is top draw! Looking forward to the release.

OG gears was incredible. It was one of the reasons the 360 was amazing. Such a shame they literally ruined the series tbh, if EPIC still had it, it could potentially be a different situation.

When has any Ubi games been AAAA. so your telling me, this is the best Ubi game ever developed. Awful smell around here.

@BansheeNorn 100% but not just budget, but just the quality of the game and story. These days it's very hard to come by games that are year on year but all of superb quality.

Replayed this not long ago along with FF7 and 9, holds up really well and no doubt still one of my favourites. Those 3 games were all released in succession, its incredible to believe they were all released in like 3 years.

I'd love a remake of it. The music is absolutely banging.

I've been holding out since launch to buy a series x just because there isn't enough to sway me. But if they come to the playstation then great. I do have some concerns though, if they do this, would it start a wider issue with games supplied by playstation? I don't want some monopoly where it's just playstation, as we all know that will end up potentially reducing the quality of first party games. I could be wrong, but I don't want that situation.

No need to watch it, I'd rather play the demo and get excited that way.

I don't think I can wait. Haven't played a game for ages and this is the only one I currently want. It's being downloaded and I'm playing it probably multiple times before the release date. Haha

Christ.. Gaming has become so dull now. I used to love getting a new game, very few from Sony are original now and has become very mundane. It's like they have lost all imagination. I understand there are people who have never played these games before, but the originals (while clunky) are definitely playable. Give us something original.

100? Sign me up. Didn't have a problem getting the plat on remake and I'm sure I won't have an issue playing this for 100hrs to get this one.

Best in a long while. Good mixture of games and plenty arriving soon. A few more dates would have been great, but overall I'd say very good.

In all honesty, I would be happy with a semi 3D version with turnbased. Not every game needs to be some grand OTT experience. As much as I love the remake and hopefully PT2, I don't feel every game needs some huge overhaul.

Id love a new Killzone. Underrated franchise in my opinion.

Overpriced second hand game anyway. If your in the UK. Just use Vinted, much easier and much cheaper.

Unfortunately everyone knows how this is going to plan out. They even know themselves. But once you commit to something and spend a large amount of money on it, you have to see it through and hope for the best. I'm sure at some point I'll give it a whirl when it's cheap enough. I did play through Avengers when it was incredibly cheap and while I hated the live service elements. The story was passable due to the amount I spent. This will likely follow that same path. Hopefully a wake up call to developers out there.

@Godot25 exactly. No one needs a monopoly. But this also go could the completely opposite direction, with how everything is now it also wouldn't shock me if we started to see smaller devices like fire sticks that just stream games. Then the whole device model could potentially be redundant. Now more than ever people want to save money. The whole thing can go either way currently.

We could potentially see another Sega situation happening. Honestly wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if Microsoft pull out of consoles completely and start focusing on software instead. Their main income is the game pass model,and if thats more income than the Xbox itself, then it would make sense. No company wants to lose money, and if helps them drive profit then they will do it.

Roguelike games can be very good if done correctly. Prey had one which was superb! And deathloop was critically praised. And let's not forget Returnal... (And one more. Hades) all fantastic in their own right. I think this will be good personally and considering they are giving it away for free, I think that's even better. I'll definitely be jumping back in.

Can't wait to replay.

Maybe at some point in Jan I might dip once the sales start. As we know Ubi games always drop in price after a month or so. But I'm yet to start Resi 4 and probably won't get to it till after Christmas now.

5 was awful. If they were to remake that, it would need significant adjustments. Like a full on remake and script re-righting. For me, the series went a little wayward from that release. For me, I never played Veronica and would like to have a go with that. So before 5, I'd like to see 0, OG and then Code Veronica.

Logically it would actually benefit Sony. As those who want MS games but also want those PS exclusives could literally have best of both worlds. And Sony keeps those console buyers and subscriptions through Plus. Technically makes a lot of sense.

Just finished Alan Wake 2, absolutely superb game. So now going to finally play Dead space remake. Continuing that horror vibe. Can't complain through EA play for 79p.

I want AW2. just incredible, I know people go on about reviews and how TOTK should win it, but it's not always about Score. Sometimes inventive goes along way.

It's so bat s**t crazy that's it's just pure genius. Haha this segment in the game was well done. Tbh the whole game is crazy good.

@Craigybear91 it's so similar to RE4 in terms of gameplay. So yes. If that belongs, this does for sure.

Alan Wake 2 - absolute masterpiece for me.

Fantastic news. For someone who has never played a game like this before, it gives me a chance to risk a purchase.

Glad Mr Wake got something, such a brilliant game. So many good games this year really, it's really been a fantastic year for us. For me Alan Wake is definitely my personal GOTY. Spidey was great for sure, but like people say I think it will end up forgotten over time. Hopefully BG3 will get a physical

@Rangers420 I'm literally in the same boat. Want to try it but never played a game like this before. I suppose if it does win loads of GOTY awards, they may well do a physical release next year.
