I'm not worried. Sony doesn't give much away these days. We all know what to expect. It's Horizon and I don't need to know the story before playing it. Sometimes it's better to just wait for the drop, they could even do a state of play in April and shadow drop a week early. Who knows! Worked for Metroid prime.
Bella has really grown into this role over the series, very well acted. Someone is going to be nominated for a few awards after this. On the show itself, I'm very much enjoying it, but a few details were skipped which was a shame, but I understand why they would have been. But I do agree with comments on here, it is a little rushed and really this episode could have been split into two easily, the whole zombie scene would have been ace, but this skipped it.
Maybe too late to cancel, but unfortunately if this runs really bad, like CP2077 bad.. this will put a bad mark on a very good game and that's what people will remember. If it's very bad, I would cancel if they can.
@Phornix so true. I personally haven't bought or played any of those games tbh, so can't comment on them, but let's face it, they aren't full of great stories from what I've read.
Eventually on sale and for the switch. I just feel this game is a perfect portable game. Very much enjoyed the demo!
FYI, for those stating they should play the first one... It's not a sequel. And this is supposed to improve on the first in notable ways, so it's probably recommended to just go straight to this.
I think since the days of E3, Sony hasn't really had or done something where you come away thinking "wow I really need a PS5" but then Xbox generally is the same. We know games are coming, but there hasn't yet to be anything shown for the games that makes you want to invest. I think they need to look back and take some inspiration from past performances and look to try and capture those feelings that you want people to have. It's really important that those PS4 players are shifting over to PS5 and not joining gamepass, but they actually need games (first and third) to encourage them. Look at Nintendo. Their last direct was fantastic, people were hyped for Metroid and Zelda.
I literally posted on pure yesterday stating about COD and that I'd imagine in a year or two, those Devs would move on. Today, this happens. It could just prove my point.
How would I feel about a MSG3 remake? Like most, very pleased.. haha! But I would also love an old castlevania, re-resed with lovely smooth silky graphics (and content) maybe symphony of the night.. now that would be lovely. And a good way to test the water for sales too, if that worked out they could invest in a full new game with the same approach. I suppose the same way they could deal with MGS. Release one of the most popular games and see what the take is.
I'll get it at some point, but at the moment I'm just back to back with games! Hogwarts is taking up alot of time and I have just got a switch, so Zelda is up before may. (Plus other games) so I'll wait for those to clear and get it reduced (or used)
Easy 9, in some places it's probably even a 10. I think they have nailed the attention to detail and it genuinely feels like you are in an alive world. I'm not even a potter fan, but I think with this game you don't need to be.
the demo was fantastic - loved those little stories of the characters I found, I'll get on to this at somepoint! but for the switch, as this fits that console much better for me.
@nhSnork exactly, I love the original for multiple reasons, but I also throughly enjoyed the remake for other reasons. It made it different enough for me so it didn't feel exactly the same as the original story. Some people just find it difficult to accept. We get so many remakes (like deadspace, TLOU) and they are just the same game with a gloss, and while that's great if that's what you want, I actually enjoyed this approach.
I'm honestly fine with them changing what they want, aslong as anything they do makes sense in the FF7 world and they use those original characters and at least keep some of the story beats and memorable moments. The original is Inbedded in my mind along with the memories of me playing this with my brother, so that can be kept separate and not ruined.
@kyleforrester87 100%, you should meet my mate, no arguments can be won.. anything you say always has an answer. Not every comment you'll read is sexist.
I did have it pre-ordered, but I cant warrant that kind of money at the moment, my PSVR just collected dust after a while, so until it has a significant price cut, I'll pass.
Said before in another post, but while I love the original, I know it's right to just wait until it reduces in price. Remakes are never worth full price, even recently, I managed to get LOUP1 for £30, (which I was happy with) and while I enjoyed the game, it still wasn't worth the price. So same applies here really.
I'm sure I'll play it at some point in the future, especially during a dull spell where releases are barebones. But I'll bite at a low price point. (Which I seriously think this will drop like a fly)
I knew it would get a decent score. It's dead space. But.. it's still the same game for me, and while I was literally infatuated with the original, I'll probably pass until it drops in price and they squash any issues. I'll definitely play it, but maybe at the end of the year.
Tbh, I'd pencil this game as one of those that I will try in the future when I can get it cheap enough. Some enjoyment can be dictated on how much you spend on the game (as it's always in the back of your mind) if it's a 6/10 and I've only paid £20 for it and enjoyed it to a degree, I don't mind. Similar thing happened with GW Tokyo
I usually opt for 30fps, odd one out. Once I switch to 60fps, you can definitely tell the difference so I generally tend not to. Haha, mind you, I'm still not sold on this game yet. I've completed the original so many times I'm not sure if it's worth the entry fee quite yet.
Should have canned this years ago. Some many dead franchises they could work with and create new experiences. Such a shame, I used to really rate this dev. The old Ghost games were incredible.
@Palleon that's a tough one. The show will be following the same story but expanding on certain things. Also some story elements have also changed. (Like how infection spreads) i don't think it will matter too much if I'm honest. I genuinely think the game will be better irregardless.
Yeah I'll watch it via sky. Luckily I got a decent deal for £11pm, so that's good. But.. I would say avoid the HDR option on sky, with House of dragon it was shockingly blue.
Haven't played it and been on the fence. I love the demon souls remake and that was my first, but I'm not overly enthused with the art direction of Elden ring and Bloodborne e.c.t so it kind of puts me off.
Logical, games are very much similar to film and TV in many ways, especially now. So to bring those into the game world does make sense. And I suppose they want to make gaming more cinematic (which they already do) so pushing gaming forward is only a good thing.
Actually playing through this at the moment after getting it at a decent price, for me, I haven't played this for quite a while and I forgot quite a lot of what happens in the story. I still wouldn't say it's the best game I've ever played and I'm definitely in the minority when I say I prefer part 2, but.. it's such a nice way to play the game and it's definitely worth playing it on the ps5 if you ever find it at a reasonable cost. It's less janky compared to the original and it's buttery smooth. I was found the original to be a little clumsy.
In all honesty, you can already find these cheaper elsewhere on disk, hopefully they are really cheap on the Turkish store, that's the only way I'll buy anything digital
Kind of expected this tbh. I'm just curious as to what they have in store going up to fall.. I can't imagine they will only have one Sony developed exclusive for next year.
@Hindenburg when I owned the original, I never stood up. I'm lazy. Haha, most of the games you should be able to sit, as it will just track your head. But I suppose it just depends on the games
I will get around to it, still going through a TLOU part 1, and then I have a few more games to play, once I've cleared those I'll boot it up until the next big release (probably jedi for me)
I really enjoyed both, for different reasons. I found 2 more violent and cinematic, and one much more focused on story. I think if they can combine the two, it should be a great finale to the series. After that, invent something new!
I've said it quite a few times, but after the tech they used in Ratchet, I honestly wouldn't be surprised if we see some dimension hopping in this new Spidey game! Who knows, we may get a cameo!
Not a harry fan tbh, but the game did peak my interest a little, I'll wait for reviews before I spend anything, but I think this will be a decent rated game, probably 8's. Just wether they can really nail the story and exploration.
I would have most likely predicted a November release anyway. But then that poses the question as to what they have planned before this? Nothing concrete from Sonys first party exclusives as of yet.
Mine lapsed not long ago, apart of me thinks this is decent, but then I'm still considering going the Turkey route, few things missing but for £17 it may well be worth it.
It's very interesting, Sony never publish anything unless they really have something to say. Someone has hit that button a little early for sure, but there is something definitely behind this. Could it be coming sooner than we think?

Re: Dead Island 2 Is 'Around 20 Hours' Long, Says Dambuster Studios
20hours is more than enough for a standard run. Not every game needs to be 70-100 hours for me.

Thank god this looks better than Dying Light 2, played that turd for 10mins and deleted it. Nothing like the first. Good luck to them.
