It finally feels like we're clear of the recent release schedule, and now we're all looking towards end-of-year celebrations — and big old backlog battles! Still, we need to appreciate the relative calm before early 2024 and its ridiculous games lineup destroys us all.

Now that Control is out of the way, it’s onto my next backlog entry, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor - mixed in with some Diablo 4 of course!

After being emotionally destroyed by the ending of Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name, it's time to wrap up my completionist run by collecting the remaining Trophies. However, I might take a nice stroll down memory lane and dive into Super Mario RPG on my Switch.

Jamie O'Neill

I'm going on a cinematic platforming journey, starting with Another World, and then running on to the original Flashback, before taking a precarious leap towards the recently released Flashback 2.

Liam Croft

I've got a Cocoon playthrough to finish up before I go on holiday to Wales from Sunday!

Robert Ramsey

Yep, it's officially backlog season for me, as the only game left on my 2023 review schedule is Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising. As such, I might be giving the disappointing Diablo 4 another shot now that it's been heavily updated, and a Baldur's Gate 3 co-op campaign could be on the cards.

Review season is finally over and I'm free to catch up on new releases. Going to dig into either Alan Wake 2 or Marvel's Spider-Man 2 this weekend, and again, a lot of The Binding of Isaac: Repentance.

Stephen Tailby

I think this weekend will be perfect to really get acquainted with Teardown. I've been dabbling in it a little, but I'd love to get to grips with its satisfying destruction. I'm also eager to play Chants of Sennaar, and it's currently in a PS Store sale, so I may have to grab it.

Now that we've had our say, we want to know what you'll be playing this weekend. Tell us all about your cosy gaming plans in the comments section below.
