@gollumb82 I know! The rally games when I was a kid were memorable, not the greatest but even games like Sega Rally had its heyday. Stratos whipping around the rally course.

Makes sense! The best thing they can do, is combine both games to a degree, they have the teams! Have the official rally experience (which is much better in my opinion) but then have the arcade style that dirt offers on the side. Consolidation.

Easy 9, very addictive to play.

I think we can all see what to expect here, previous has been pretty buggy and not overly well received. They manage to get a fair few licenses for games, so let's hope they can deliver on this one.

Need to get back on this game now, was really enjoying what I experienced.

Still decided to take a punk with it. Wasn't going to, but tbh there are some games I have bought after reading very average reviews and they have turned out to be very good. (Also the reverse) I like the magic element, so thought why not!

@Rural-Bandit I would imagine as they are going down the old MTX route, they saw this as something that would fit into the portfolio, but as usual.. another failed live service game.

I expected this score. Some are marking it as a 7/8. I'll hold fire and wait for a price drop, as I'm guessing it will be the case with this.

While I'm with everyone on the issues being a disgrace, I'm still playing the the thing and also enjoying the racing. Haha.. such a shame they had to tarnish what is such a great racer.

Such a shame about the game, I'm still very much enjoying it. But I'm just taking it for what it is, racing. Collecting cars will just have me grinding which I am not interested in. So racing and picking up cars along the way is good enough for me.

The demo didn't sell it to me tbh, so no! Far too many other games that are taking my time up.

I usually play the good guy, but I can't help but want to use forbidden spells. Haha

The longer this goes on, the worse the reputation will get. I think Sony need to see the bigger picture here, microtransactions is one thing for sure. (We all hate it, blah blah) but nothing will change. They need to change the rules on games like this so people can play regardless of server issues. They are already charging such a high price for these games, again. It isn't going to change, so they need to learn from these mistakes and make sure stuff like this doesn't happen, its only going to further put people off buying the games. They need to incentivise why we should spend our money on these games, and issues like this only clarify why it's clearly not of value as of yet. Make us see the value in the price, not prove us right.

Not a potter fan myself, but from a gamer perspective this looks great. I have seen all the film's though, so at least I know some lore.

I've played a fair few hours now and probably spent very little on cars so far, so my funds are racking up. However, I don't agree with lowering the rewards, I don't think they were exactly high originally.. the microtransactions doesn't overly effect myself, as I'm just playing and enjoying. (It's a great game)

@lolwhatno can't remember how much the PS5 Upgrade was, £5 or £10 but I managed to pick up the PS4 version for like £6. And as you stated you like walking, obviously it's different but it's actually very relaxing to play. Music and walking. Pretty much it.

I think Mr Clancy would be rolling in his grave for any game ubi makes with his name. Literally tarnished. Unfortunately they have lost their roots where this is concerned.

@naruball quite possibly! It's good to see regardless. Mind you, I know Sony published the game, but they never outright owned them when this game launched, I can't image Sony not wanting to charge. Who knows.

Most Devs would probably charge for this kind of update. So kudos to them for that, the main game was very good, so I expect this will be the same quality.

GTA will be bloody top again next week.

I must have played this game a dozen times. Such a great experience, shame they changed it... So yes, aslong as they keep the originals atmosphere in tact and same type of gameplay im definitely looking at forward to it.

@cheonseojin you mean when you boot the game? I found the first time I started it, it was not.. but now I can skip it. So must be just when you first start the game.

Looks very low budget. I can guarantee, this will be a flop. Screams live service. (Anthem style)

Fantastic game, very addictive. I don't think I would play co-op, and some boss sequences would actually be very hard. We all know the one. Never got the plat due to some pesky collectables.

@mrbone cliche? Most state of plays I'm rather happy with actually. And I didn't fall asleep literally. It's more "I'm bored" nothing here was noteworthy apart from a few. All opinions.

Fell asleep. Christ that was the most boring thing I have ever watched. 20mins of my life I'm never getting back. Haha

SE - FF7 Part 2, FF16.. and big rumor.. Konami - Silent Hills/ MGS. little unlikely but who knows.

@Richnj unfortunately nothing is normal at the moment, shortages on quite a lot of things due to the world. Even cars have a backlog and are difficult to get... I find the stock alerts seemed to help me, there's one on telegram that pops up.

Just to note, if you still have your PS4 disc, you can sell it to CEX in the UK for £9. Technically you won't pay for this upgrade.

@JJ2 interesting, im not sure mate.. It's the usual type of "heist" story. All about money, in general its a pretty ok story, bit like Red Dead. Better on the sequences than the general story itself, but some missions are very good fun.

£10 for an enhanced campaign is actually not Terrible. I was literally expecting this to be 39.99 again. If.. the things they have added look decent and the graphical side of things look good and run well, I may drop a tenner on it. I don't care for the online stuff, so this is actually good for me.

I don't think it will be a GOW deepdive, really they have two exclusives coming up, one has technically had a state of play from the Devs themselves, but Forspoken is due in may. I would guess it would be that and maybe a few indie games, plus this whole "gamepass" idea.

Still smashing through FW, trying to get all the trophies I can before the finale, and then in between for a break a bit of GT7. Which so far seems fantastic, haven't played a racing game since FM7, so it's nice to get back on the tracks.

I hate microtransactions. But like comments have said above, it's not needed to progress. So taking that into consideration, it doesn't matter to me as I would still like to go the usual route of playing to buy the cars I want.

@lolwhatno couldn't agree more, visuals only do so much. But when the AI is running into a box it's not great immersion. Lip sync is another thing I'd love to improve, very few games seem to nail it.
