Hades was fantastic. However, I do feel they should have maybe gone a different route here. Instead of continuing with Greek, they could have gone down the route of Helheim.

I don't think we can expect this to be a walking simulator again, I'm sure there will be segments, but I have a feeling we are going to see this develop into something much much bigger. Otherwise it's just too similar to the first game.

@dschons 100%, I did the same for the PS5 and Series X, cancelled one and kept the other. (Whatever seemed a better option for me) worst case there is always someone that couldn't get it, so helping someone else is always an option if its not right for you.

Missing a beat here aren't they. Alot of people investing in PSVR2 would have had the PSVR. Hence very likely to have played one of these (plus it was given out on Plus) so the likelihood of a re-buy is quite slim. They don't need to give this away for free, as it should cost if the value is there, but at least offer an upgrade path.

I took the plunge and got a pre-order in. I'm still not 100% convinced, but I have the ability to cancel. A few titles would probably keep my pre-order locked in. Half life being one. And boneworks is another. Both sublime games.

In all honesty, just let Microsoft have COD. You have 10 years to create some decent competition. Everyone needs to remember that call of duty was not always king of the FPS genre, games before it were the go to shooter.. ala Medal of Honour e.c.t, so games have fallen off the perch before. They just need to invest and get the right people in to create something that can contest. Honestly, with how Microsoft are, they'll probably ruin it anyway, unfortunately this has happened many times before. I could give a list.

I think for anyone that never got the chance to play this game, then this will be the version to get. I personally can't warrant going back and playing again, if they had done a complete remake, ala FF7, then it would be more worth it. But I can remember how cringy the dialogue was! Haha.

We will be getting something at some point I am sure of it.

After calisto, I'm definitely ready for this. Just a shame that game couldn't get anywhere near this in terms of everything. Already sold it. Haha

I think it's worth noting, if you have a headset capable of doing the 3D audio, I would recommend playing it that way. It 100% elevates the experience for sure. The game isn't bad at all though, I can see why it's got mixed reviews and it's probably a game I'll forget about. But for a first attempt, it's pretty decent, graphically it's beautiful and they have the sound and atmosphere nailed! But the gameplay could do with some adjusting and some character development could have done with some tweaking as I'm not overly caring towards the characters involved. I agree with the score on this, and Id imagine the next attempt will definitely be much better.

I managed to grab it for £35, so pretty decent. So far, I'm probably about 3hrs at most in. I'm enjoying it to a degree, but it's just lacking something. The story hasn't quite got there yet. Hopefully it picks up, but hey worst case I can sell it to CEX for what I paid. So I won't be losing anything here.

Yeah had it peordered, it's definitely not a scary game. But none the less I am very much enjoying it. The atmosphere is fantastic!

I think with the positives and negatives I have seen through many reviews, none of them overly bother me too much. Mines coming today and I'm still looking forward to it.

@Uncharted2007 it will play different for sure, I'd imagine they will have copied the style a little more and the attacks will be similar, but it has a roulette style system. So there will be some key differences, that system was in the original which is probably why they kept it. I'd recommend watching a few videos to get an idea.

@Uncharted2007 so the yuffi DLC doesn't fit in the PS1 timeline at all, it's purposely made for the remake. So the story is essentially all new for the new version. Crisis core fits in with the old PS1 version and is indeed a prequel. Some of the shots used in the classic version (won't spoil just incase you haven't reached those points) are reflected in crisis core. Crisis core is essentially the story of Zack, Cloud e.c.t before the train ride at the beginning of FF7.

Tbh, I've played the game so have no interest in going back, but it does look much better graphically so this will be the best way to play the game. I'm curious to see what they do with the ending. Keep it the same, or adapt it to follow suit with the remake.

Tbh, we know of very few exclusives for next year. Especially system sellers. This would be no doubt a system seller, and with Christmas right around the corner.. it would make huge sense for a little promo. If kids see a trailer for this, they'll be asking for a PS5. marketing it correctly can definitely push sales up.

Not a great deal as I've been in Poland, but I'm off work tomorrow, so I'll be continuing with GOW, about 40hrs in now.

Few average games, but let's face it. No game has been as good as the original squaresoft games.

I've done the main story, now just going through everything else. Really just the beserkers to go.

I can't comment on Elden ring tbh, never played it. But I understand alot of people have and love it, so I get why it's GOTY, now Stray.. I don't understand that one bit. Don't get me wrong, I played it and enjoyed it for what it was, but I would have been disappointed in paying for it. There's only one playstation game of the year here and that's Mr Kratos. Such a good game.

If this is anything like the last game, this is a definite purchase

@stvevan yeah UK mate, need to look for the dual sense and then it gives you the option to add the game. Add all to basket and it will be £45. This only works on the black and white dual sense.

Looks real good this, very rarely preorder but I got it for £35 so looks a real good deal. We shouldn't all overhype this, but I do have a good feeling.

Just had a look at this game, first time I've even noticed it. Does show promise though, looks like they have taken inspiration from other games, GOW, Gears, Doom. Interesting.. usually playing on 4k, 30 so this doesn really effect me tbh. I find once you play for a while your eyes get used to the 30fps.

Oh no... Bye bye life. Haha. Hopefully we can see some huge improvements, already owned it on the Xbox, but as I have a PS5, bought it a while back again, I'm ready!

I think for the price this game is at now, it's a no brainer. I bought this a while back for around £10 and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Very good game, shame about the launch it had really! Once the new dlc drops, I'll definitely be booting it up for another playthrough. Lots of stuff I haven't done and explored.

Yeah had it on preorder from Turkey, luckily it unlocked yesterday evening, so I've been smashing through it. Very much enjoying it so far!

Going through the last mission now, really enjoying it! Not met too many big bugs, so good going. Highly recommend it for sure.

@Sqush-Pare 100% specially if you can get a deal on gamepass. If all the games are this standard for a reasonable sub fee, it's not a terrible deal at all, they were never going to be like God of war or last of us quality. Haha
