Love remedy games, always underrated! Never received the recognition it truly deserves as a dev. I think this could be the one, that makes them "News" control was fantastic, but slipped past alot of people, hopefully they add some more connections in to existing properties! With Max penciled in for a remake, probably a good chance we see something that hints to another connection.

I think Sony are going to get a huge shock when some of these games fail very hard. Out of all these games they have announced, I bet 1 maybe 2 manage to get some fanbase. Out of all of those yesterday, Marathon is probably one of the only ones I can see some traction. And that's based on Bungies quality.

I have faith, as people have stated. Now the acti blizz deal seems to be going ahead strongly, PS will definitely show a few cards. I couldn't say as to what they will be, but I would guess MGS is definitely real and it's just a matter of time before we see the game, and that alone (if exclusive) is a big hitter.

Re: Sony Aiming for At Least Two Big PS5 Exclusives Each Year Across 'Every Major Genre'

I absolutely hate live service games, but I am going on past experiences which usually result in awful experiences. Let's face it, the only live service game to have experienced any kind of success is Destiny. Who we bought. I'm hoping Sony are going to be like Apple in this instance, join that live service party late and reinvent the wheel and create a SP game with live service elements. (That is actually good) imagine a live service game like Uncharted, where over time you can pay to unlock adventures (new storylines, new islands and locations) but host a proper developed story.

I still think the game will move away from new York for some of it. Or maybe an alternate version of the city. With their previous Ratchet and the way you shifted to multiple locations, Im still sold of them using that tech to do a miles morales and offer a varient of different locations. That should offer some variety against the last two Spidey games and give us all a fresh game. No one wants the same new York again and I'm pretty sure they will create something unique.

Re: Soapbox: I No Longer Think Subscriptions Like PS Plus, Xbox Game Pass Are the Future of Gaming

While this sort of thing is generally great for the average consumer, I think gaming is mostly aimed at "gamers" that's where most of the money is made. Gamers buy lots of games, and they require us to buy them to make profits. While subscriptions is generally a great idea, games in general cost so much to make, eventually this is going to catch up and make it very hard to keep up with making a competitive game in this market. I think Netflix is a good representation of this, while you can get the odd great show, not every show is amazing and Netflix has noticed a decline in subscriptions during certain points. For me, I usually only keep one sub running when I know there is something I actually want to watch. I used to do the same with Gamepass. But games cost so much more to develop than a TV show. So yes. Agreed. For this industry to survive correctly, we need high quality games, that we are actually willing to part cash with.

Said it many times and said it when it was first announced. The amount they charge for the booths and spaces, were talking a good 30-60k for a space area (blank floor) and probably good few 1000 for a small shell booth, I couldn't imagine these companies thinking it was a good idea... It's just not profitable when they can do an online showcase.
