Raidou Remastered PS5 PS4 Performance

Raidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army should be a buttery smooth experience on PS5, according to official resolution and frame rate targets from Atlus.

We suppose it's to be expected of a PS2-era revival on current-gen hardware, but it's nice to know all the same. The developer is promising 4K resolution at 60 frames-per-second on PS5, while PS4 users will have to settle for 1080p at an unlocked frame rate that targets somewhere between 30 and 60fps.

What's more, there'll be a free upgrade option from PS4 to PS5 if you happen to make the jump — save data transfer included.

A smooth frame rate is a big deal for this one, by the way. Just in case you don't know, Raidou Remastered has an action-based battle system, complete with combos and special attacks. It's one of the main reasons the title stands out from Atlus' other works.

And if your excitement's starting to build ahead of Raidou Remastered, you might want to take a look at the game's newly released opening movie. All these years later, and it's still a stylish introduction.

Raidou Remastered is on track for its 19th June launch, but will you be combing the streets of Japan for demonic activity? Straighten your detective cap in the comments section below.
