I’m glad Sony doesn’t release day and date on PC so we don’t get watered down crap like XB does. I have no problem with it going there down the road but Sony’s strategy seems to be working. Can’t say the same for Phil and company. He would be happy if there was no such thing as a home console anymore and everything went pc. I for one hate pc gaming and never want that to be my main way to play!

@getsammyb I really wish reviewers would quit talking about the length of a game unless that length hurts the game in some way (wether too short or too long). If it’s a compelling game, the time it takes to beat it doesn’t matter. Don’t get me wrong, I would be pissed if it clocked it at around 6 hrs but 12 -16+ to 100% it, I’m good with that. Now as far as the too easy, I’m with u there. Unless I missed it, I didn’t see what difficulty u played on?? So, I’m assuming normal. All that means is ratchet it up….. (see what I did there) on the difficulty and then u don't have that problem. 8 is great but I was expecting a somewhat amazing or beyond that score out of this. Anyway can’t wait to play this for myself and decide where it ranks. Thanks for the info.

Anyone that thought Sony would leave over 110M in the dark is an idiot. While I might have been able to play some games that came out on PS5 on my PS4, I wouldnt have enjoyed them as much as I did. @Arkantos2990 So if that’s the case then what ur saying is XB only has 23M total gamepass and gold together while Sony has 47M just in PS+. If that’s correct, there is no competition.

@Godot25 But over 47million have PS+ which is what I was talking about. The value I get out of PS+ more than outweighs what I would get from gamepass. Good for those that have it and enjoy it. It does make u think how many actually love it because it’s awesome and how many love it cause they purchased that system and that’s all they have to offer??? I also believe in 3 yers when all Bethesda games hit gamepass on day 1 that gamepass will be an incredible deal, and I don’t play Bethesda games but I can understand at that point it will be worth it if they don’t jack up the price again.

@Arkantos2990 Why does MS release gamepass numbers but not gold numbers or console sale numbers? Cause it’s the only thing they are beating Sony in. PS+ has been so banging since PS5 launch, we don’t need a gamepass competitor. No one talks about the $15 a month or $180 a year gamepass cost. I typically get PS+ for around $35. Big difference! And remind me, when was the last year MS released multiple AAA first party games?? Gamepass if not worth the money yet.

@Floki Contract dude! They are obligated. Minecraft has nothing to do with this conversation. Psycho 2 is under contract. Game looks terrible so it wouldn’t be a lose if it didn’t release.

@Floki What does that have to do with anything? Minecraft was an existing franchise on every console b4 MS bought it. This is a game that was under contract to come out on the console. Double Fine could cancel the entire project and not release it at all but if it releases it as the game it has been developing over the last several years then it has to release on the consoles that were under contract.

Am I the only one that wished games gave more freedom to play the game the way you want to play it and not how the developer wants you to play it? Hear me out. I was a pretty big fan of Resident Evil before 7 went first person. Hated that game and now have no desire to play 8. Returnal looks amazing but I absolutely hate rogue like games. I have tried many and found none that I enjoyed so I’m not throwing down $70 on a game I know I wont enjoy. I was going to (just because I’m a glutton for punishment) until the save thing came out. If 8 had a 3rd person option and Returnal allowed saves, I would have bought 2 more games in the last 2 weeks. I can’t be the only one that feels this way.

Needs to be third person before I buy.

@Logonogo Depends on how the game was made. They could have it already in there for a change later down the road. It is doubtful since RE7 never flipped to the better perspective. But here’s hoping!

Hopefully they will patch in a third person perspective. I don’t play first person games often as a prefer the older style. Game looks good but will never play in its current state.

If your looking for Netflix style browsing then it sucks hard!! If ya know what u want and go get it and nothing else, it works fine. For me, I wish it was more fluid like Netflix.

Anyone not sold on this is not a platform gamer. Or a xbone/Nintendo homer! This game looks like more of the ‘16 R&C, which is a good thing. They took that and ran with it! Love the plumber but I think he will be looking at this game with jealousy!👀👀👀👀👀👀🍄

@AdamNovice Not putting in a save option didn’t just fall thru the cracks, it was a conscious decision. They believe this is the best way to play the game. For me personally, this game will be skipped until they put it in, due to the lack of time I get to play games. I do want it but will wait!

@patronmacabre pretty sure all game sites love it, it was fans that had the most negative comments about it. It was a good game but made some strange story choices.

@BoldAndBrash I also think sushi is overrated 🤢! Good thing we have amazing games like Ghost of Tsushima with its great narrative, excellent combat and beautiful scenery! Wasn’t a huge fan of TLOU2. It had very good mechanics just not a fan of the story.

@TowaHerschel7 I kinda wish I still had my Vita but then again there hasn’t been a new game that I would play on it for a long time. Remote play was really cool. It works on my phone and iPad but isn’t as enjoyable. Hard to imagine people playing on PS3 if they own PS4/5. Maybe I’m in the minority but when new systems come out, I move on. Haven’t touch my PS4 since Nov 12th.😂

I haven’t met someone that still plays a PS3 in years and a Vita veeeerrryyy little. Kudos to those that still do but I can’t imagine this is a large crowd at all. Not sure why saving this was a big deal but I bet it still closes within the year. Why? With all the great ps plus games we have gotten since the PS5 launch, no one should complain about what we have and will be getting. Sony has too many great games coming not to continue winning. They cant just sit back and win but they just need to continue plugging along.

@Exlee300p Shocked this doesn’t bother you. Sony is allowing consumers that had no way to play it, to now get it at no additional charge than what they are already paying. Fans that have been paying for it every year now still have to pay $70. If that isn’t the def of screwing over your fanbase, I’m not sure what is.

@LochNass U must HATE BOTW! Cause this game was so much better than that. Fenyx is the best game Ubi has put out in a loooong time. I absolutely loved Fenyx! Loved the world, the combat, the story and the jokes. My only issue with the game is the bugs. Wish it had Nintendo’s polish.

Tough puzzles should have been on the pros not the cons!
