Why does everyone keep asking for a GP equivalent!!! I don’t want Sony to release something that is not profitable. GP has failed to make a profit yet! It’s been around for over 4yrs and no profit!!! It would kill Sony if they did this the way MS does. I’m very happy with the offerings that I get from Sony.

So I understand Sony publishing and getting timed-exclusive rights. But how do they assist in the development and it still land on another platform??

I really hate when websites put a poll up asking how people like something before they pin their own thought maybe about it. It is ok to have an opinion that doesn’t match the majority. If this was written before the poll article, it should have been published before it.🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

Anyone voting poor or very poor is on the wrong site. If u did and only own a PlayStation 5/4, then u need to sell ur console and move to another system, cause this is Sony! For me, it was missing at least 1 big banger but it was still good if not really good.

No one has to pay $70 for HFW. If it’s a free upgrade from PS4 to PS5, just buy the $60 PS4 game and get the upgrade for free.

@KidBoruto Sorry if it sounded like I was saying no excuse to u. I was not. It is no excuse to the website for which we come here to get informed. The uninformed might think Kena got delayed again based on it being absent in an article titled Upcoming PS5/4 games for Sept/Oct. Just poor reporting!

@KidBoruto No excuse. We come here and read articles to know about games. Obviously, I know (along with most about Kena) but there could be someone that doesn’t know. Having it on here in some form is necessary. Poor journalism.

If this is correct, this might be the worse month since the release of the PS5.

There is no way this game is worth $60!! Looks like a $40 game. The first one was horrible but all the praise on this one interests me especially hearing people say that they also didn’t enjoy the first. It’s going to have to go on a pretty good sale for me to take a chance on it.

@Rural-Bandit Real question, not trolling. I have a friend that is a Xbox gamer only and tries to tell me how great GP is. I finally got him to admit that before GP he completed more games but now having GP, he plays more but rarely finishes any of them. Is this the same for u?

@Rural-Bandit All he said was that they have their own plans. That does not mean a GP equivalent. Maybe just their answer to it.
As for as a $15 monthly fee for Nintendo games?? That’s way too high cause Nintendo would never put anything of quality on there.

@Fiendish-Beaver Don’t disagree if u can afford both, get both and take advantage of GP while u can. There has been multiple reports that GP has never been profitable and Spencer himself has all but said so. Not a fan of XB as their exclusives (very few) have never wetted my appetite.

@Rural-Bandit Never said it was not a great value. Sony does not have the pockets of MS so we don’t need it here. Disney+ is a bad example as it is a new service and now making a profit. GP has been around since 2017.

@Fiendish-Beaver I don’t want it to fail but I don’t want Sony to do it. It still has not turned a profit for MS to this day so let them keep losing money and let Sony do what they do.

@Spiders GoT is better than the 2 u named. If u play games just for mechanics and something new to a formula, then u might not like it. But, if u play games to enjoy the story with great gameplay, then u will not be able to put it down.

I’m bummed that we don’t have news all the time. I wish Sony would have a planned quarterly SoP that’s always on the books. Even if some of it is just rinse and repeat with updates on how things are going. For that matter, I wish the 3 big companies would do it this way. The trickling out of info can be infuriating. I’m always looking for the next thing. Developer commentaries on how things are going would be fun too! ANYTHING is better than nothing!

I see no problems with this unless the dlc is tiny or not very good. Season passes are almost always $29.99 and sometimes great and sometimes not. This is giving us a directors cut which hopefully implements the dualsense really well with dlc that hopefully also smashes it. They did it with the game so I’m confident they will do it with this. It may have to wait until after Kena though as I’m super excited for that!!!

They need to change the narrative. Not because MS or Nintendo showed any great games (there were good ones) but that is all anyone can talk about cause Sony hasn’t said any. As soon as they do, I think we will be talking Sony til the end of the year!

Kena should be #1! Not sure why it wasn’t on the list.

@get2sammyb Couldn’t vote in the poll as it said my selections were invalid. I chose Elden Ring, Riders Republic and other (for Kena, which had a really nice new trailer and developer commentary). Overall, this has to be the weakest E3 I’ve seen in many years. Hopefully Sony will deliver next week or the week after with a really strong showing. Otherwise, Xbox won the summer which is not good cause their showcase was just meh!

@Snoober So, u should do ur research before u try to throw someone under a bus. As of May 6 2021, The Verge reported that MS has yet to make a profit on gamepass. Just because a lot of money is coming in, doesn’t mean they are profiting. If Sony had an equivalent, of course everyone would jump in but games would suffer and it wouldn’t be profitable either. MS is trying to make GP the answer to there exclusive drought, with promise of everything they make going to it. Unfortunately, if ur a Sony fan, more than likely the games announced today don’t really do much for us. I want XB to do well and wouldn’t mind getting one. Games talk and they don’t seem to be saying much on the XB side of things.

I think BC is a feature that is more asked for than is actually used. Of course BC is being used on PS5 for PS4 games and the same as XB from one to X. But going even further back is not something most people do.
