@Jake-the-dogPro is a great console but why buy one just to buy a PS5 unless ur talking years away.

I wish all sport simulation games wouldn’t take themselves so seriously. I wish for more arcadey style sports games.

@BUDSclass201 Rumors are typically fan boys wishing or just thinking that they will do what others are doing and copy it. I’m glad it’s not wireless if it means a better experience.

Headset needs to be half the size and half the weight. It also needs Astrobot 2 and Half Life Alyx day1! I will line up for this if they hit it right!

I don’t care one way or the other if it has online. I refuse to platinum a game that makes me beat it on the hardest difficulty. Not that I won’t play on hard but I always start on normal. If it’s too easy, I go up. If the difficulty is just right, I continue on. I don’t want to beat a game then have to beat it again just to get a trophy.

I don’t understand this either. I will replay if I never finished. If it’s been a long time from starting to picking it back up, I will probably start at beginning again. However, I have never replayed a game that I finished.
I don’t consider arcade games as replaying them. They are meant to be played over and over. So fighting games or anything in the like is not a replay.

If u put in rest, it does not on mine. Only if I turn the console off, which I only do once a week. First Light was great! Would love another Infamous game!!

@Flaming_Kaiser I too got the sound bug but realized when it happened (only happened twice in 80hrs played) all u had to do was shutdown the PS5. It only checks for content after the game is started from the beginning.

As good as it is, it doesn’t outshine Fenyx! That game should be getting more attention. At least more than Valhalla!! Come on guys!

GOT was my first platinum and have gotten 4 more since. If it wasn’t for the bugs, Fenyx would be a masterpiece as well. I love open world with a great story.

Never used it, yet played my PS4 3/4 times a week ever since launch. Don’t think Sony put enough effort into it.

I don’t believe the dates. I don’t believe any store has had any to sell for a couple of months.

I have no issues with the way things are. PS Plus has been fantastic and I have a backlog of games to get thru. I don’t see the value in gamepass right now as most games on it are old. I would like more transparency and more news from Sony but that’s just me wanting it. They do what they do and it works. Can’t wait for R&C and mostly Kena!!!

@LordSteev The tech is there and so are the games. All it takes are people to buy.

I love my PSVR. In a new version, I would like to have better visuals, a bigger field of view inside the goggles and killer games! I would have enjoyed it being wireless but I understand why they are doing it differently.

PlayStation fans are def not the target audience for this game. My daughter will play it but only on pc. The controller is foreign to her while the pc (to play games on) is foreign to me. I think it also skews to a younger demo and not to a hardcore gamer.

@Weebleman By Sony having their “big budget” games come in at $70 it shows they are committed to quality. Miles Morales came in at $50 and was a great game but also a smaller game. With this coming in at $70, it shows they believe in the game. I’m with u, I hope it’s great. BTW, my first console was Intellivision 1979!😂😂

@Weebleman Not sure how old u r or how long u’ve been playing games but this transition is like when games went from $49.99 to $59.99. It’s going to happen whether we like it or not. I’m happy for the games that don’t hit that higher price point like Kena but I also don’t expect as much out of them. If we get 5-8 hrs then I’m happy! More than that and I’m ecstatic!

@Weebleman If that’s the case, then I agree but ur assuming it’s rinse and repeat which u don’t know yet. Plus, every great game has rinse and repeat. Hard to get away from that formula if it’s over a certain length. Rinse and repeat with gradual progression is what a game does. I’m not saying Returnal will be great but at least wait for reviews before trouncing it. It might surprise u.

@Weebleman Not if it’s 20+ hr game. This will obviously not be close to that range. Probably less than 10.

This is an amazing month just like every month since launch! Everyone complaining about not getting the FF7 upgrade for free in June doesn’t understand business. They are giving FF7 to gamers like me who never bought it, wasn’t really interested in buying it but who will download now and try it. If I like it, there will be a way to pay for the upgrade. Was going to buy Marquette so this is awesome! Don’t really care about the other two.

Kena was def the best but Sifu looked very interesting. Unfortunately for me, that was really it.
At least it was still better than that Nintendo Direct!😂😂😂

I have experienced drift in almost every generation of consoles Ive owned since analog sticks came out. Surprisingly PS4, I have not but have already on PS5. It’s very little but it’s there.

Hawaiian sounds pretty cool, but Native American would be my vote if it has a deep story line.

Watched some gameplay and it doesn’t look interesting at all. PC gamers must be bored out of their mind to make this a top game.

@dav2612 The amount of praise on here for Nintendo is palpable! They released hardly anything new all year. They are selling like hot cakes with old games as the selling point. It’s crazy!
Also, the only other year that competes with Sony’s amazing 2020 is their amazing 2018!

Not sure why everyone is praising Nintendo? First, I own a Switch and play it. Second, why does Sony take crap about Demon Souls being a remake when that’s all Nintendo has put out lately. Nintendo has had an amazing year in sales but a horrible year in bringing out games!!!! Sony has had one of the best years (2020) in gaming history and it only looks like it’s going to get better.

We’re barely 3 months into this consoles lifecycle and we have already gotten a years+ worth of great games. Yes, some can be played on current and last gen and some are cross platform but still amazing games! Top 5 PS5 games so far:

1. Immortals Fenyx Rising

My # 1 is the most fun I’ve had playing since, well.... Ghost of Tsushima! But with a much more lighthearted story. Think BOTW but more enjoyable!

@Wazeddie22 I hear ya. I still have one vault that is giving me trouble. I’m 27 hrs in and I think I’m barely halfway thru. But I’m also completing everything.
