Replayed RE3 just last month on a whim and actually made a game guessing what would be chopped. Shame to hear that basically the latter half of the original has been completely cut (Or heavily changed?)
Question though, as someone who didn't like Mr. X in RE2make because of how he constantly interrupted puzzles, is there anything like that here?
I'll believe it when I see it. 4chan sometimes has prioper leakers but I really think Kojima is done with MGS (And, really, I think a lot of people are). I'd like to see Kojima and Keiichiro Toyama make something original tbh. The have a history together and horror chops.
People need to stop defending companies because they like the end product. Naughty Dog seems to need workaholics to create games and that's just not acceptable. Animation wise we've been racing to the bottom for a while now and it's putting pressure of developers and their lives to make it so, because companies now seem to be able to go under after one delay or slow sale due to the costs involved. Not even sure if it's possible to dial it back at this point.
Played a bit of it with a mate and got bored. I think after being spoilt by Xenovere, I'd be much happier if we just get Deviantart OC timeline stuff mostly going forward. I've played DBZ's story waaaaay too many times for it to have the same hold it did as a kid.
3 gave me the closure I needed for the series, it's cool people get more and faster after the meme of WAITING FOR KH3, but I'm happy to leave it behind.
I wonder if fatigue is setting in? The series is a yearly one and they're huge 60+ hour games with interconnected stories. I think it's easy to get behind and just stop caring after a game or two.
After Grainger went out of business is there even any exclusive vidya store in the UK anymore? Outside of the odd splattering of indie stores of course.
I don't have PS+ anymore, but the fact it'll be on there means loads of people will at least DL it and MAYBE play it one day, and that's good enough for me.
Managed to finish the game, but the amount of bugs really put me off near the end. Had the final boss locked in a permanent T-pose after a few deaths and a bunch of combats where the enemies spawned in late. Not a great showing for a pretty nice game.
Yeah, this is a good all round job. I know people are saying that he doesn't deserve it because he's a bit of a git, but let's be honest - if the company was EA or Activision we'd all be thumping our fists on the table.
This carte-blanc contract was signed with 2004-ish CD Projekt, who were a super small company who released a eurojanky game called The Witcher with it, who could have seen they would become what they have? With money from cameos in other games flowing in? If I was the author you'd bet I'd want to get the contract changed.
As with all Games as Service I'm going to wait for a few months to see how the jank, end game, and playerbase look and then wait for a price drop. No point buying an online only game at the point when they're always at their worst.
A cool idea, the DBZ RPGs have been my favourites for a few years now (Fusions and Attack of the Saiyans) but hopefully the action stacks up and isn't something like "Xenoverse but with numbers popping up when you punch".
@MightyDemon82 Zestiria and Berseria feature very different combat styles compared to the main series. Zestiria is also very hit and miss, with lots of weird systems, niggles, and experiments that people either love and hate.
It feels more like a prototype to Berseria, which is a pretty good game in the series. Just be aware that they're both very different from the rest of the series.
Big fan of Joe M and that art style that appeals to my 8 year old self, but it's def on the backburner. Going to be too busy playing Shenmue over Christmas to put in time on anything else...
Probably gets a lot of gunk thrown his way but, like, he's a lightning rod for this stuff. Lots of his opinions were always pretty brazen and inflammatory, and he used to love to present himself as that sort of rebel game dev with the HOT OPINIONS THAT DIDN'T CARE WHAT /YOOOOOU/ THINK. I don't have that much sympathy for people like that?
I've always considered him the American Itagaki, in that way.
"the six or seven hour story"
Wait, is this seriously how long this game is? Wow, I was hoping it would be longer...
Hopefully Frogware's The Sinking City eventually fills my love of Lovecraft then.
Cancelled my pre-order since the line-up isn't super appealing too me. Was hoping for a few more hidden gems (Puzzle Fighter is a great inclusion) . Still wish they have the dualshock so we could have a few really classics likie Ape Escape and the like, but if the lineup looks good to you and you don't have a PS3 or PSP/Vita anymore then it should be an okay deal.
@ShogunRok Looking at the supposed leaks from cut staff. It's shocking that only Minecraft and the first season of TWD were actually profitable. Borderlands I can understand, but Batman?! Maybe that says more about the Telltale style gameplay than we thought.
Sad to see people lose job, hopefully they all land on their feet.
@NintendoFan4Lyf @lacerz The reason people are annoyed at Nintendo is because there's no other way to get the games on the Switch. It's not like Now where you could either buy them on their own on the PS Store or rent them.
Well, for me I'm not too bothered. No analog sticks means games like Ape Escape won't be on it, and I probably have most of the games on PS3 or somewhere else. Good to see people excited though.
@get2sammyb @ShogunRok Yeah, so it seems my issues with the first 2--that they're just treading water with this reboot, is still valid. It's a shame, because the first game with its cult survival story really grabbed me.
Then again, I'm so deep in DQ11 that I won't escape for a while. I'll def pick this up in the inevitable New Year £10 sale.

Re: Soapbox: Mortal Kombat 11's Devs Have Missed the Point of the Loot Box Discussion
Everyone talks about EA and Activision but everyone forgets that the WB are the worst when it comes to lootboxes. Miles worse than the rest.
