Rumour: PlayStation Fans Could Be Building a LEGO PS1 Console This Christmas 1

If you're a fan of LEGO, you're probably aware that the company has been looking to video games for some of its premium sets.

Thus far, the majority of gaming builds have revolved around Nintendo, although there have been a couple of Horizon sets in the past, of course.

Anyway, according to a LEGO leaker, one upcoming set from the company is a PS1 console, complete with "at least" one controller.

Posting on Instagram, user @lego_minecraft_goat, who often posts about upcoming LEGO sets, claims an original PlayStation console set is in the works.

The post includes the set's numerical code, as well as a piece count of 1,911 and a vague release window of December 2026. According to the post, it'll cost €159.99/$159.99, which is fairly consistent with other LEGO sets of this scale.

It's difficult to decipher how accurate this leaker is, but looking at the account's history, there do seem to be at least a few examples of accurate leaks.

Given LEGO has been moving towards gaming, and has fairly recently released a very popular Game Boy set, it seems entirely plausible that a LEGO PlayStation set will be launched just in time for the holiday.
