if its good enough for Nintendo why not everyone else

why has no one previously thought of making a multiplayer football game thats 11 players against 11 players online.?

I hate games like this that are designed for me to do the same thing again and again in the hopes it will let me progress.

loved the first game companions and the different ways to end the quests

loved Avowed

im pretty sure i will love outer worlds 2 as well

@Godot25 you could say Avowed is a fantasy version of outer worlds as that was out first

well i would buy the £10 disc upgrade but unfortunately its not offering it to me

@Nem its rare and not much of a discount either. they dont disount anywhere near the levels of other publishers

Nintendo dont discount their own games hardly at all still being almost full price years after release.

so what if not discounting games becomes a normal for other publishers as well?

A baffling list in many respects some games i think that should have been on there

Resident evil: still the biggest survival horror franchise to this day

Halo: revolutionised FPS shooters on console and console online multiplayer

last of us: a game that delivered new heights in writing and storytelling in games

Fallout 3: I would argue this is the trail blazer of open world games that so many others since have followed even skyrim which made the list

completed it took me 10 hours did 4 of the 6 endings

good game well worth my time

they should licence them out. sony arnt making money off not using the IP so let someone else make the games therefore they take all the risk and sony make a cut based on no work

rather than patting on the back for hidden gems maybe sort out the trash slop thats infesting the platform jumping bean turbo etc etc and all the other AI trash slop games

frankly i think ghost of Tsushima is overrated yes its a fine 7/10 assassins creed clone but clearing icons off a map isnt great

if Sony arnt doing anything with a dormant IP let others make games with them and make a cut.

its basically free money surprised more IP owners dont do it

I dont think it great value at all.

multiplayer gaming is free on PC and the various stores give away more free games than essential

at this rate LOU3 with be a tv series tie in game

I buy disc games for resale value not preservation

preservation LOL try playing most disc games without updating them first.

the reality is most versions of games on disc are not complete. let alone those that require an account or server log into play

it was longer than astrobot rescue mission

there was the inpatient and rush of blood they were essentially move games on PSVR

prequel didn't work so well with Accension

the constant charging, discharging while being used would be terrible for the battery and ruin it.

using a controller while charging is very bad for lithium ion batteries

I will try it out on gamepass as its Day 1 on there

life is strange used to be an indie game and sold well when it was a £15.99 game. once it went to premium price point people just wait for a sale or subscription.

it certainly hasnt helped every game in the series has been on gamepass and ps+ extra so people are just waiting for it to turn up on there

I like Fallout 76 good game great map. lots of people who have very strong opinions and hate fallout 76 have never actually played it because of what they believe it is. even if they do try it they start it up put very little into it and dismiss it. believe me i was one of those people I never got it at launch because of what i assumed it was.

having sunk hundreds of hours into it i can say you can play the whole of fallout 76 solo. Did all the main quests i loved exploring the map one of the best maps they have made and didnt engage in the multiplayer or settlement building or microtransactions.

another game im glad i didnt miss out on because of everyone else's opinion on it

I would like them to bring the Dark ones back

Exodus in my mind was missing the supernatural elements

home burned dvds cds etc are not the same and will fail

A story about 2 years (2006 to 2008) of faulty manufactured WB dvds is great way to get clicks about disc rot.

dont worry your physical collection will be fine for years to come

spending alot of money making what used to be an indy game had failure to meet expectations all over it.

Double exposure is a good game better than life is strange 2

I liked it and completed it and will buy it for PS5

Like most games today if its not great GOTY contender its dismissed as trash when the truth is somewhere in between

god of war, god of war 2, god of war accension, and god of war 3 are on ps+ premium

@breakneck you cant realty compare a portal to a steam deck as the steam deck plays them natively where as they are streamed on a portal.

it cant even play ps1 games natively it has to stream them

wasnt an enjoyable game to play so bloated and repetitive

a user friendly pc that plays like a console isnt that steam OS?. good idea if you can play steam games on a pc/console

solves the issue of not getting PlayStation games or an xbox port because almost every game comes out on PC

you dont have to play it early and frankly in this day and age if your playing a game on release your playing the worst version of the game

wait a few months and play a fully patched version for cheaper

Battlefield 1 is my favourite

I would have loved to have played last of us factions. A live service game that could have succeeded and yes we dont want naughty dog to waste their talents running a live service game but to just cancel it after making it rather than getting one of the now closed studios to run it seems like such a wasted opportunity and effort

@Porco you cant play alot of EA games or Activision games without a separate account its been that way for over a decade.

Preservation for a Forza title thats a joke they generally get delisted after a couple of years anyway due to all the car licences expiring.

on xbox try buying any other forza horizon game you cant all previous ones have been delisted

I will give it a go as its day 1 on Gamepass

it would be a bad omission there's way more to gears of war than just the campaign

online 2 or 4 player co-op
4 player horde mode is excellent
and pvp
and other various modes beast mode, escape etc

so no last of us factions a live service game that would actually do well and now no last of us 3 a game that would sell millions while the tv show is garnering attention

look i get naughty dog dont want to just be the last of us studio why not let another sony studio Bend? run with it

it would be a massive missed financial opportunity for Sony if there wasn't a last of us 3
