@Throb I think I saw somewhere that you would be able to import your PS4 game save. Hopefully that's the case.

I love the Spider-Man games and will probably play the next one and Wolverine but generally I'm all Marvelled out. I got that way with the films because now they are all intertwined you end up having to watch all of them to get the whole story. I just like that games are separate from film / TV so you don't end up with the same thing across them all.

Be playing some more GoT Iki and trying to get some more escape attempts in on Hades. So pretty much the same as last weekend then 😆

If they can tell the story in 2 parts then I'm good with that. Wouldn't want to see the same thing happening with GoW as happened with The Hobbit. Man that was hard work.

@JB_Whiting I'm one of those so good to hear that someone who didn't like Dishonoured might like this. Will consider picking it up at some point if the price is right.

I just didn't get on with Dishonoured. I really tried to like them but they just didn't do it for me. Deathloop looks like the same style of gameplay so I just haven't been that interested in it. Maybe that will change but the pushsquare review didn't really inspire me.

@hypnotoad Looks like a good price. Not sure about the free heatsink though, looks a bit basic. Are you going with that or have you chosen something else?

Still exploring Iki island and dipping into Hades for the odd escape every now and then. Really want to get back to my NG+ on Demon’s Souls but that’s taking a back seat for now.

I’ll definitely be playing this for the first time. It’s going to be interesting to see the back story that I missed out on when playing the Control AWE DLC.

It’s going to be awesome to see what they can with both of these titles. They’ve now got the experience of doing R&C so can hopefully lean on that to make something truly outstanding.

I'm expecting this is going to be good. Industry insider bods seem to be quite excited about it and Sony haven't said to temper your expectations this time so it could actually be what we've all been wait for this time.

This is very interesting for VR projects. Be great to see what they can come up with themselves and also their ability to support other PS studios.

There's a lot thrown at you in that trailer. Makes the game look good but I definitely wouldn't want to watch that if playing the game for the first time.

@weegiebored One of the expansions for Control, AWE, is based on Alan Wake. I still enjoyed the AWE part but definitely feel it would have been better if I'd have played Alan Wake first.

I will definitely have to try this out. I really enjoyed Hitman 1 when it was free on plus a while back but didn't get around to playing 2 or 3.

GoW gameplay or story trailer
Dreams PS5 version
Bluepoint acquisition and new game
TLoU multiplayer

All of that would be nice but what I really hope for is some Returnal DLC.

Finally got the GoT expansion so going to give that a go later. It looks great from what I’ve seen but it was a pretty good game anyway.

Finally cleared a run in hades so a week later than planned I might actually get GoT DC downloaded. Still got a little Plague Tale to finish too.

Won’t get to play it over the Christmas hols but Feb is normally a time when I’m feeling a bit of a lull so be great for this to land then.

@MightyDemon82 I’m definitely trying my best. I was so close earlier but just needed a bit more health or skill, ok mainly skill. Spend that money and just blame it on me, I’m happy to be the bad guy in this situation if it means getting to play a great game 😉

I’d like to play GoT DC but I’ve promised myself I’m going to get one full run in on Hades first. This might well just be the death of me.

I thought the price for the PS5 upgrade wasn't crazy money, but then I did enjoy the game anyway so would be great to get some haptics in there.

Both awesome games. The way they work to slowly reveal the story is fantastic and that they also have addictive gameplay is what keeps you coming back.

I have a feeling I'll rack up an equal number of deaths in Hades as I did in Returnal!!

I'm all for combining Plus with Now. The problem of Now not being available in all countries isn't that big an issue. If it's not available in a territory then just have the download option available and it's a bonus if streaming is available in that region. As more regions come online then more people get access to that.

I'd also like to see some better discounts for being a plus subscriber, like discounts on all pre-orders or all Sony published games... something like that.

They could also offer some first party multi-player games as free for Plus subscribers rather than charging extra as an added incentive. I mean you need Plus to play those online anyway so they are still making money but it would be great to think that subscribers get access to stuff like TLoU2 Factions and GoT Legends standalone for no extra.

Picked Hades up yesterday and it’s been great so far. Got my Demon’s Souls NG+ to finish as well and I might just experience that Abandoned trailer again as it’s just so awesome!

They must be wanting to hold back on announcements at the moment where things are so up in the air with the pandemic. Pretty much every game seems to be delayed at the moment and those are for ones that were announced before or during the start of it all.

The next lot of games are all ones that are even further from release which means the delays are likely even greater. It’s something we will likely live with for the next few years.

Will probably have to go ahead and get this then. Oh well! 😃

@Floki I could have sworn I read that it was but maybe it was just that it was going to run better with backwards compatibility on Xbox.

I think that Psychonauts 2 is also not getting a native PS5 version so that's two MS games that aren't being upgraded. Shame but I can understand why they would want the Xbox version to look / play better.

Think I’ll be played more A Plague Tale which so far has been interesting. Also going to try and make some progress in Demon’s Souls.

It sounds like it might be a case of seeing which AAA games work in the VR space as well and put some effort into them rather than trying to do it with everything. I guess astrobot shows that you can make 3rd person games work in VR but I wonder if that translates to all 3rd person games or if they'd need to be in first person?

I played this a little bit but will definitely have to dive back in again and this seems like the perfect reason

Certainly with TV and movie subs there's more people that are just signing up for them for a short amount of time and then dropping them when they've watched what they want.

I don't know if that translates completely over to PS+ though as if you aren't subscriber then you miss the included games each month, but perhaps for people that use it for the online element then they might play a game for a while and then not bother re-subbing if they aren't playing it.

I've got a few years of plus built up and I'd imagine that there's a few people like me out there that have. I doubt that makes up the majority of subscribers though but be an interesting poll.

I’m away this weekend so won’t be playing anything but great to see what others are up to. Can’t wait to get back to Demon’s Souls on Monday.

I'd rather they waited to release it when it's ready. It looks like it's going to be one hell of a game so don't rush it out just to get it out there by Christmas (am I allowed to call it that?).
