Tekken 7 Season 4 will begin on the 10th November, Bandai Namco has confirmed. Alongside the arrival of Kunimitsu and a new stage as DLC, players can expect a balance overhaul plus at least one new move for every single character.
What's more, the game's online netcode has been improved, which should lead to smoother battles as you strive for the all-new Tekken God Omega rank. Good luck!

I bought Tekken 7 at launch.
Then the complete edition with the 2 season..
Now I will wait for the
Tekken 7 ultimate legendary complete golden diamond remastered final season playstation 5 Edition version ( coming in holiday 2026)
before I buy it
Still love this game and we play it occasionally. Willing to wait for the inevitable PS5 version with all the DLC though, glad they are still supporting it!
@Ridwaano I'm waiting for tons of games to have complete editions with all the DLC...havent bought a game in over 5 years!
@Ridwaano Hi there friend. That is THE problem with fighting games nowadays. They will always release a game with enough content (most of the times) and the rest comes later as dlc.
And to top it of, they do not come cheap either.
But if you want to play the game day one and not be completely overrun online, you gotta pay full price.
And then there are characters.
And stages.
And outfits.
And sometimes music too.
If there are types games that should be less expensive, it should be fighting games.
Cheers, stay safe out there people and happy gaming to us all
@RaZieLDaNtE @stinkyx
It's hard to get a complete game pack now day! I am so surprised of God of war no dlc same with days gone..!
I just start waiting for games to be put at least 1 year before I buy them now.. Only on special occasions like ps5 launch with demon's soul.. I buy day 1. Or remaster with the full packet
@RaZieLDaNtE TBH, there are a good number of fighting games that feel like "finished" products day one. Injustice 2, Tekken 7, and MK11, for example, aside from the pre-order bonus characters. I'd say those game were more or less "done" on day one. TONS of characters, extra modes, in-game unlockables, and robust story modes.
In those cases, I personally don't mind the seasonal format...extra content definitely beats an entirely new sequel every couple years like in previous gens, IMHO. I like that I have multiple years to learn and get better at this game, instead of starting over with Tekken 8 and Tekken 9.
This DLC is like the 49th character in the game or something, and with no other DLC schemes (lootboxes, gems, etc), I don't blame Namco for charging for it. And look at her...more detail and work into this 1 character than the entire SSBU roster, lol. Definitely a good pick for fans and something to get excited about!
@Ridwaano Yeah I completely understand people waiting for the "complete edition" of a game.
I did that with MKX and Batman Arkham Knight as well with the first Borderlands.
But for the most part, If I do have the financial means, I´ll get the game day one, depending of how much I want to play that game, just like the example you mentioned with Demon´s Souls.
And here´s the thing: games like God of War, Days Gone, Ghost of Tsushima, Horizon Zero dawn and Bloodborne, just to name a few, these are games that players actualy want dlc.
Some of them are payed and most tend to be free updates.
And there is more: They are all POST LAUNCH.
No season pass nonsense. So there is that.
Cheers and all the best
@stinkyx Hi there friend. Injustice 2 is one of my favourite fighting games this gen. The visuals, the gameplay and the characters(being a superhero fan and all that). And, just like you said, lot´s of in-game content for sure. It did have a season pass that I bought when it was cheap and it was good value for money.
MK11 as quite a few obnoxious things, like the random loot in the crypt, the unreasonable level of difficulty in the towers, and the slotted items that go into gear. Now some of them have been sorted, but others have not.
And then there´s dlc. Kombat pack1, Aftermath, kombat pact2.
That is a lot of money just for a FG. Good content, for sure, but quite expensive.
Tekken 7...... It used to be my favourite 3D FG series, but now.....
Poor singleplayer content, really bad story mode, mediocre arcade mode and season passes for days. Tons of characters though.
Don´t get me wrong, I´m always excited for new characters being added to a FG, but the new fighters always seem to be just "done better" than the base roster. It´s a bit strange.
Maybe I´m just getting old or something, but I miss the good old days wen devs had to create games that were full of content from the get go, with characters and outfits you´d unlock trough playing the game. Oh well.
Cheers, stay safe and happy gaming to us all
I never really cared for kunimitstu but this is good news for people that do. I kind of hate the approach here though. They've added so many old characters via these season passes, now I shudder to think about Tekken tag torunament 3 in the future.
This game is the biggest cash cow in a long time .I use to love playing this now its dlc dlc dlc shame
I hear a lot of people saying it but just like with MK11 ill wait for a complete package.
@RaZieLDaNtE The singleplayer was a joke indeed and that can i call it a arcademode was a insult.
@stinkyx I never bought so many games like this generation but i believe there where tons of complete games released for me.
