Re: What PS5 Games Have the Best Graphics?

djlard

I like very colorful games, so right now I have still butterflies in stomach when I run Divinity Original Sin. I pretty like Elden Ring graphics also. I never focused on graphics so much. It is rather about style. Speaking about PS5 clearly, Final Fantasy 16 was pretty. I don't know if I had so bad hand, or if it's some trend, but games I bought (Atomic Heart, Mortal Shell, Necromunda, Diablo 4) all have weird bland graphics with pitch black shadows, so it looks like textures are missing. I still didn't hit any PS5 game with some "wow" graphics. But as I mentioned before, I don't care about graphics, rather entertaining (and I'm not entertained when I cannot see nothing more that black in shadows)

Re: PS5 Sequel Darksiders 4 Has Online and Split-Screen Co-Op, By the Way

@LordOfTurnips You answered yourself. Some games were made with MP in mind and that is that problem. There are only few examples, where they made MP "just" in mind. Rest of them are "singleplayer" but balance, huge locations, sliced story is heavily put on multiplayer. Especially in PS3 era, there were lots of games pretending to be singleplayer, but were optimised for multiplayer and final feeling of playing it singleplayer was like you are missing something.

Diablo 4 is has so many issues so replayability is dead. Yes, Diablo 2, Assassins Creed, Uncharted, Space Marine 2... these games worked good as "singleplayer at first" but lots of others, especially arcade, didn't.

Re: So, PS3 Game Sacred 2 Is Getting Remastered for PS5

I loved Sacred 1. I loved Sacred 2 (because it filled gap before Diablo 3 release). I hated Sacred 3.

I don't get why they try to remaster S2 while S1 needs console release? But OK, I'm missing 2 trophies on my PS3, so I'll get platinum there and see if there is something new in PS5 version, but sentence "overhauled combat" smells like rotten fish.
