Re: 'Even I ο»ΏCan't Tell the Difference': Shuhei Yoshida Thinks PS6 Needs Something Other Than Just More Power

@Gabrielmpf Same here. I also play more old games.

I just don't like new style where games are too dark, half black, using 3-4 colors. Also everything is "souls-like"... I'm missing good old heroes saving beauties in distress, where attacks were doing damage - not just visual firework, best armor was peice of steel - not halloween paper costume, bosses were dangerous - not just overpowered one-hit killers.

Also Sony can improve installs like games from disc are installing on background while playing intro, or so.

Custom folders on home screen is the most missing feature.

Shovel ware control on PS Store.

Emulators of older Playstations - dear god it's so simple to make it!

Custom themes

CD player return...

...there is so much they can do to improve machine and mainly operating system...

Re: Xbox Shortchanges PS5 Fans Yet Again with Another Shoddy Physical Release

djlard

@Stickleman Ohh it pretty affects a lot of people. Imagine I bought Helldivers 2. Install of cca 40GB took me around 10 minutes. But download of additional 39GB took me more than 2 hours. I had about 2 hours of free time, so it took me whole session just to watch download bar and then grande finale was shutting down PS5. It's been 14 days now and I still don't have another time for PS5. So instead of (hypotheticaly) playing Helldivers 2 for hour and half, I have no fun with it yet. Just frustration of idiotic downloading.

(I know it's online game so downloadable updates are expected, but imagine any single player game, that can be easily put whole on disc.)

Re: People Don't Buy Anywhere Near As Many Games As You Think

There is not more good releases than once per year or two, so, in majority, I buy something very old heavily discounted from time to time. But I have so huge backlog, that buying something new is meaningless. And as mentioned, games are so long right now that finishing it takes me half a year or more.

Re: What PS5 Games Have the Best Graphics?

djlard

I like very colorful games, so right now I have still butterflies in stomach when I run Divinity Original Sin. I pretty like Elden Ring graphics also. I never focused on graphics so much. It is rather about style. Speaking about PS5 clearly, Final Fantasy 16 was pretty. I don't know if I had so bad hand, or if it's some trend, but games I bought (Atomic Heart, Mortal Shell, Necromunda, Diablo 4) all have weird bland graphics with pitch black shadows, so it looks like textures are missing. I still didn't hit any PS5 game with some "wow" graphics. But as I mentioned before, I don't care about graphics, rather entertaining (and I'm not entertained when I cannot see nothing more that black in shadows)
