Hollow Knight: Silksong has claimed its fifth victim: it's been revealed Baby Steps will now launch two weeks later than originally intended as a direct result of the Team Cherry sequel's imminent release date.
The game's publisher, Devolver Digital, shared the news on social media, confirming a new PS5 release date of 23rd September 2025. There is also a comical video attached of the main character attempting to climb the hornet from Hollow Knight: Silksong:
Baby Steps is the fifth game to announce a delay as a direct result of Team Cherry announcing Hollow Knight: Silksong will finally be launching next week. Demonschool has been pushed back to late November, and there have been delays for Aeterna Lucis, CloverPit, and Stomp and the Sword of Miracles.
