Re: Balatro Wins Appeal Against PEGI After Being Accused of Including Gambling

djlard

It looks like this PEGI - a self called experts - finaly got slapped in face. But what a worst thing is, it looks they even didn't play game before, because normal, reasonable thinking person, couldn't give Balatro 18 and claim it is about gambling (contrary to FIFA and its "booster packs"). So it looks PEGI is another useless institution that even doesn't do it's job right.

Re: Xbox Plots a Catalogue of AI Games, And It'll Probably Use Tech on PS5

When Phil Spencer first showed it to me, where he had an Xbox controller and this model basically took the input and generated the output based on the input and it was consistent with the game [that was] a massive moment of ‘wow’. It’s kind of like the first time we saw ChatGPT complete sentences or Dolly draw or Sora, this is kind of one such moment." is translated as "Wow! Money printing machine! You have money printing machine! Now we will release milions of so called games for free and those idiots (customers) will buy as crazy!" "Exactly..."

Re: Poll: Would You Buy a PS5 Mouse Accessory?

djlard

FragFX (half controler, half mouse) was my best friend for FPS on PS3 and PS4. It is absolutely perfect solution for exPC players, especialy when right stick is heavily limited with it's 1cm movement radius. I would lovely use mouse again in point click adventures, FPSs, iso RPGs, strategies, browser (if PS5 has updated). So many games could be way faster to play. I don't care multiplayer, so I don't care if it is banned for online.

Re: Poll: How Long Does It Take You to Beat a Big RPG?

djlard

I'm not fan of big RPGs anymore. I always turn every stone just to check everything, finish everything, collect everything and than finally complete main story. When credits roll I take game as closed and uninstall. Unfortunately most new RPGs lost any sense. Side quests are locked until main story is finished, collecting something has ceased, secrets are gone too and crafting has no meaning... so I just finish story and things I can do on the road.

I think I cannot remember RPG, where I was able to go where I want, do what I want, when I want. Last one was Sacred 2 ???

Re: Ex-PlayStation Boss Says Sony 'Can't Get Away' with a PS6 That Has No Disc Drive

djlard

I bought only a very few digital games, and only because they were not released on disc. Pre-owned or "on sale" disc games are way cheaper than digital versions, still faster way "from buy to play" and (with few exceptions) your own working copy that can be run anytime anywhere.

98% of my digital library contains PS Plus monthly picks.

...also Sony's statistic betrayal, because they SELL you these games with 100% discount...

Re: Spider-Man 2's Looking Like Another PC Own Goal from Sony

djlard

I'm not against porting games to PC, but Sony should learn that trick PC gamers basically focus on performance! They paid way more money on heavy machine so they expect it will work way better than plastic box under TV.

The second thing is Sony probably never seen Steam action sales and offers where you can grab AAA titles for a price of coffee.
