Re: Review: Nex Machina (PS4)

Love the game so far. Beat my first play through on experienced difficulty after 3 hours, thanks to how much harder the last 3 bosses are.
I hope Housemarque adds online co-op in a future update like they did with Resogun.
The fact that you can watch the playthrough's of people on the leaderboards is my favorite part. It's such a brilliant idea IMO, and keeps the game competitive, but easy to get into.

So far the scariest thing for me was when I bumped into a mannequin and it started shaking super fast. Probably not an intended scare, but seeing as I was prepared for pretty much everything in the game EXCEPT for something like a dumb physics bug, I actually jumped from my chair. lol
I don't scare very easily, but I am enjoying the game so far. I wish I'd been able to secure myself a PSVR to enjoy it more, but sadly they're sold out in every store I go to.
I'm still early in the game, but if I had any advice, it'd be to store the items you don't need, or don't expect you'll need. A stacked inventory can make a stressful situation much more stressful.

Re: Those Platinum PS4 Headphones Look Like They've Been Delayed Again

My gold headset broke after only 5-6 months after launch. I had them duct taped at the cheap plastic hinge that broke and used them for another 4 months before I got sick of having to replace the tape. The sound quality and features were nice, but i'm not buying another one of those headsets when they're clearly not intended for extensive use.

Re: January's PlayStation Plus Games Have Been Revealed

Pretty good month! I've wanted This War of Mine and Titan Souls since they came out, but it's hard for me to justify paying for single player indie games since I play almost exclusively multiplayer games nowadays. They may not be AAA games, but they look fun.

Day one for me. My friends and I are having a blast playing. It's a super easy platinum trophy too since the collectibles on each map are easy to find and shared across all players, and the hardest trophy is to survive a game on the last difficulty, which is meant to be done by a full party of max level people (which will be common in a week or less).
I haven't tried it out yet, but there's a solo offline mode which I imagine would just be the experience of a multiplayer game without other people.

Re: Overwatch Will Limit Teams to One of Each Character in Competitive Mode

All I can say is...
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
I read the full patch notes in the first link that came up in google after typing in Overwatch patch notes. Now self-healing abilities charge Ultimates. So ultimate costs on Soldier, Mercy, Roadhog, Lucio, and Bastion have been increased. And Soldier's spread recovery on his heavy assault rifle now has a short delay instead of being instant, which should help a lot to make him seem more balanced IMO.

Re: Will Fallout 4's Robot Butler Say Your Name?

Well I guess we know what's gonna be added in the next update. What a tragedy that the npc can't read Lord Adolf Dickface Shepard aloud. I guess i'll just have to go find something boring to call myself like Sir Sexy Humongous Boobies.
What a drag.

Re: Feature: Our Most Anticipated PlayStation Games of Holiday 2015

My top 3 this year are:
1. Persona 5 - I recently got pulled into this series and can't get enough.
2. Star Wars Battlefront - I've always loved star wars and played the hell outta Battlefront back when it was newer, so this is a definite for me.
3. The Division - It feels so realistic from what we've seen and my friends have hyped it so much that I can't not want to play it with them.
Honourable mentions- And of course Fallout 4 and all the rest. I'm really looking forward to Persona 4 Dancing All Night too, so it's a great year all together for me.
